There has been a lack of transfers but Slot has to see where he thinks needs changing and the others will look at bringing in the right players. So Slot does have to give his input. You can't just bring in players where he doesn't want them. It's a lot of work together. This is not a quick fix. He needs at least a season to see what is what.
