@@saicharangarrepalli9590 For me Sai he was the reason i fell in love with the best football club....Liverpool is an emotion. never give up spirit of the team during gerrard years brought pure emotions and i got probably such amazing memories which i would probably have not got with any other club. The Champions league final of 2005 we won because of gerrard. That comeback goal from gerrard absolutely changed the tempo of the match. Gerrard you know was one of the greatest Liverpool fan himself and that made it really special for us fans too. Yeah i also wish he were around today.

Show me a player who single-handedly carried a whole team on his back and took them to 2 European cup finals other than Steven Gerrard .. Put Messi or Ronaldo alone in the Liverpool team that won the UEFA Champions League 2005 and take Gerrard out, they would've won NOTHING! Gerrard is the real hero and a true legend who proved his worth with no help from solid midfields and attacks like the ones Barcelona, Madrid or United had that helped Ronaldo and Messi be where they are today!

As a West Ham fan, I was absolutely gutted at not lifting the cup after being just minutes away from doing so. All three of our goals were lucky but it would've meant far more to Hammers fans to win the FA cup than it did to Liverpool fans.

West Ham beat Liverpool that day, but Gerrard beat West Ham. A truly great player, not as flash as some other world famous players, but gives 100% and turns on the flash when it matters. And for those that mention the slip, his body was in such need of surgery that he had to have an epidural to play. LEGEND!
