This week we filmed a live stream at the Djerf Avenue offices in Stockholm. Hosted by Matilda who did a great job of touring over 1,000 viewers around the office, behind the scenes, meet the team and part 2 a fun team Swedish xmas dinner.
Here are some tips & take aways from the live stream that might help you?
Always looking to learn something new, here are my 3 take aways from the event which you might also learn from:
Prep to reduce stress - Going LIVE, especially to a large audience is stressful. While that "going on stage" feeling is fun and exciting, you can't beat 2-3 prep meetings to plan out the details like lighting, camera positions & safety issues with all the HDMI cables!
Just Film Real - @matildadjerf is obviously very comfortable in front of the camera but you could see that sharing her reality behind the scenes was easy and natural for her. We can all do that, stay away from fake or scripted content and you will be surprised how good you and your team can be!
Teamwork - carrying a live stream on your own is a lot to take on. Share the load with your team and get them to help make it flow. @Matilda did a great job of using her offices as a storytelling guide for viewers on the live stream. We can all do that and it comes across really authentic to show the people behind the brand.
