This was one of the selling points of 5, just like any character for any mission. We see Dante on the Mission 1 bridge in the main trailer, but that's not possible without mods ingame. Feel a bit lied to

@@yakuzashibe the last good couch multiplayer game I played was Cupead. The scramble to revive my partner before they float off screen was so fun. I imagine freestyling combos with someone else would be a similar feeling. But much better because DMC energy.

@@yakuzashibe yeah I feel like somethings were taking out. I also feel the fame was rushed story wise just for the 20 missions classic DMC it could've been longer.

I feel like dmc5 was a test run and they wanted to see if people actually wanted it and if it actually functioned well and now that we know based on this vid and the coop missions themselves that it works it’ll definitely make a return in 6

Because they would have to design the game to be balanced for 3 people in every encounter plus it would change level and boss designs if bosses weren't specifically made for certain characters

Multiple reasons actually the hardest one being they would basically have bug test each level with each character in multiple ways such as multiple people playing the same character and how many of that character in each level. For Nero ,V and Dante. For 20 missions

I don't necessarily agree with the balance comment. If it's a bonus thing purely for fun then it doesn't matter. It's not like they balanced the game specifically around the Super costumes for example; they just set everything to max for fun. The bug testing angle, however, I hadn't really thought of and that would be a pretty big undertaking. Could possibly be done for a Special Edition though... But I'm not holding my breath aha

@@amarntsitran3406 The Super Costumes slashes your rank in half so it's pretty balanced. How would the game rank you if your combat encounters are being shared with someone else and thus less chance to gain style points. Mission 13 is designed around co-op but if every mission is Mission 13 that would suck. Plus yeah bug testing and honestly to having run 3 playable characters all at once in all levels (especially ones that are more detailed since Mission 13 was pretty detailess so it could process the co-op better) might melt consoles. BP co-op could be a thing though.

@@DarkEdge1231 Co-op on unintended missions could do that exact same thing then, cut your rank. Ideally they'd make a separate difficulty for co-op where it's essentially LDK set to DMD or at least SoS. And yeah, it probably would melt base consoles on some missions. So maybe we get a DMC5:SE on next gen? I kinda doubt we'll get any of that, it's asking for quite a lot although I reckon possible on next gen, either way, I'm just having fun speculating.

PC is superior in literally every single thing. Mods is just one of them. This game in a high refresh hate monitor>>

Download the required program in the mod description, then download the trainer. After that run the trainer and start the game, you'll then be able to fiddle with the settings to your hearts content.

@@16dylan2 unfortunately you'll need a swap mod for right now, the mod author is currently trying to make the other missions coopable.

@food wich It should just connect to them like in mission 13. Me and some friends played and it connected us pretty much instantly each time. The only thing I can say is try to pause the game and unpause it so it tries to reconnect.
