👋 My name is Ryan & at age 30 I quit my day job. I used to work full time as a Sr. Front End Web Developer (I quit this job), & part-time as an adjunct professor teaching web development at a local university (I kept this job - I like teaching!). Both of my day jobs were awesome! But that couldn't change the fact that I'm completely addicted to the idea of building passive income streams that will allow me to retire from ever working a 9 to 5 job again.

When I read small print for doing the amzn merch, (UK) I was put off by amzn will own the design once it's uploaded & they don't allow the design to be used anywhere else/other platforms. Hence it's royalties not commissions. .. 🤔

The money is insanely, insanely good. If you are planning on putting hours of work into designs, keep them and sell them elsewhere, but dont miss the opportunity of a lifetime w/ Amazon Merch

@RailinX when i read the long small print, im sure it says that design is basically Amazon's once it's uploaded on their merch platform & same design then can't be used on other platforms 🤔 (UK)

If you found a hoard of gold coins, would you immediately jump on RU-vid and reveal the location? I don't get it. On one hand, they are saying there is too much competition, and at the same time they are causing said competition by making these videos. It's a great lesson on how not to adequately protect your market share. There is a reason Coke is not on RU-vid revealing it's recipe for Coke. I wonder why Coke doesn't want their secret recipe on RU-vid.🤔

Okay, this is killing me.. I’ve been searching for a video of yours for weeks. The topic of the video is about a seller who goes to businesses and sets up POD listings with them that help market their business when their customers buy from that listing. It would be amazing if someone could help share the title of that video in a reply. I don’t want to give up but I’m exhausted! I almost wonder if it was taken down.

Dude how do you make a margin with printful? average selling price on amazon UK for a novelty mug is £8.99. Printful costs is approx £11.50 (mug+shipping) so would need to sell for around £15 to make a profit.

With how VAT works it's incredibly hard to be profitable in general, which makes Amazon Merch even more valuable as they cover that and just pay you a royalty

Wait are we not allowed to upload duplicate titles for products on merch? Or are you talking about something else? For example if I have a bunch of Mother’s Day designs that are related to being a boy mom, can I just reuse my same title for them all? Thanks!

Duplicate titles on Merch doesn't get in trouble but it's still not recommended

New listings take time to show up in search but if you want to confirm you're indexed, copy+paste the ASIN into search bar 👍

This is how not to pair up on an interview. We have the guy in a poorly fitted blue polo with a poor background choice, who rolls his eyes to the sky regularly, and whose thought process goes at the speed of molasses in Siberia in winter. Then we have Ryan who talks at 90 mph and looks like he is going to explode waiting for blue man to finish one sentence. Ughhh. Painful to watch.
