Just read about the Isle of Skye in _Adoring the Dark_ by Andrew Peterson (he named his daughter after it)--providential to see it brought up again so soon. God's creation truly inspires us to be creative in imitation of Him.

This whole video 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 i wanted to repost every single quote. Year after year it seems like we have to rush, do things nonstop and even consume as much as possible, but we definitely aren't meant to live at that pace. The best is to experiment moments of stillness, observation and receiving inspiration peacefully (while being bored as you said, for example). As an artist i can imagine all the added pressure to create mindlessly, but i loved how you emphasized on being intentional. In the end, humans are seeking that: real connections. That's how i found and connected with your music (and then videos), for example. It was that "this seems genuine" vibe. Thank you for being real and for sharing it with the world 🫶🏻 you are touching more lives than you can ever imagine! Wishing you a fulfilling 2024, filled mostly with a peace similar to when the sun touches your face in winter and makes you smile.

this video reminded me to live. Social media and my phone has takes so much from me, leaving me drained and near lifeless. But seeing these sceneries makes me realize the beauty in God's creation, how his creation is drawn to his creations. Thank you for this video, it encouraged me and for sure encouraged many more people.

5:54 is my favorite part of the visual in the video; these waves are like the "restoring" part to get calm again. I dunno how to explain this cuz my first language is spanish. But let me explain 😅 the white part of the water is when the chaos (boat) is happening and then later this waves "of calm" make their smooth (but strong opposition) moving to go to a peaceful place or state. Yeah i like this waves of calm

Such a lovely video. I have a degree in photography, and after years of documenting everything, I found what I missed the most was simply existing in the moments I was capturing. The camera became a wall that separated me from my surroundings, from life. I realized I hated that feeling. I realized it had made me lose sight of the love I had for photography in the first place. On the days that matter most, I find myself never even thinking to pull my camera/phone out. If I do, it’s for a quick snap, or I intentionally put it away for a time before pulling it back out again. I worked in photography for years before switching my career over to graphic design. I’m glad I did. I think I would’ve lost the wonder of creating if I had not.

Thank you for this, Jonathan. This will be my going to video when I need some inspiration. Your words resound inside of my creative artistic mind/soul. Thank you for always inspiring us with your music, your thoughts and your art. This is great, congrats.

I loved the mix of a scripted part and the honest dialogue with your friend. so true that we as artists are like sponges: whatever goes will eventually come out. thank you for the reminder to consume mindfully (I count this piece of art was definitely into that category :D) Not sure if it was out of your comfort zone, but i could really see the effort of not creating a "visually perfectly curated" video. Of course there was very beautiful b-roll (especially in the second part), but definitely also enjoyed the more travel vloggy style clips. it made me really feel like being part of the trip haha very nourishing content as always bringing us closer to our creator 🧡
