I think the living alone phase is such a cool time to figure out yourself, maybe overcome fears around it, kinda live out your own design fantasies for the space etc. I’m excited for you! Also I love the dance intro yas 😎🤘🏽

There are stick on window filters that might work for the front door. You can see out but you can't see in. Mainly used for bathroom. So many designs.

This was such a fun, casual vlog! Just a note on the security pole because I have it too! I use it by setting the u-shaped side under the door nob, then kicking the part that touches the floor so it's pressing the door closed! You might want to make the pole a little longer so there's a bigger angle against the door--that makes it harder to push open!

ooh yes cooking content with the air fryer recipes in the vlogs would be fun! Also, I recently got these privacy window clings from Amazon for a door similar to yours and I love them, they were super easy to put on and relatively inexpensive. The one I got has a rainbow prism pattern so when the light is shining through the window it creates the prettiest rainbow light reflections on the walls plus it adds some privacy while still letting light come in. Oh and if you ever come across a taller tree kind of potted plant, maybe even in one of the FB groups, it would look so cute in the corner behind your record player!

I think the under the door thing is working properly. I have one and basically you push it as tight as you can to the door knob and then someone can’t get the door from the other side!

I think you just keep it adjusted kind of long and jam it under the door handle at a 30-40 degree angle. It seemed like perhaps you were adjusting it too much / after you had it placed/ making it too short ? Congrats on the new vibes and living aloneness !
