Perhaps some viewers have grown to admire her lifestyle and therefore aspire to live like her. Only to find out that their variables and challenges are different to hers. It just makes her less relatable for some. That doesn't necessarily mean their views are entirely negative and therefore requires criticism. You people who are quick to jump on this, throw a blanket over it all and call it "envy" or "insecurity" are no better than the haters who judge a person for their haves and have nots. Privilege doesn't deny you the virtue of humility.

Right, I wish my parents would help me out. Life is hard. I know people my age (25) who still get an allowance. I’m like good for you! If I could, I would 😂 It’s just jealousy. No one gets anywhere completely alone. So just because someone’s help looks different than yours doesn’t mean they don’t deserve it.

Honestly, really impressed that you are able to keep it together at such a young age, living alone. You are a lot stronger and mature than you give yourself credit for. Haters are horrible, but the fact that you still let them affect you shows that you aren't blindly turning an eye to everyone that may disagree with you or straight up dislike you. So kudos to that, I say that's revealing of what kind of person you are.

I'm 26 and my parents are still supporting me. I used to work abroad and my father still paid my apartment bills while i used my salary for myself and for saving. Now that I decided to go back to school I am fully supported by my parent again. I used to get judgemental comments from my friends because some of them need to support their parents while i am the opposite but seriously what is wrong of getting money from parents? My family is by no means rich but maybe they have different way to show love and care than others. As long as we dont hurt anyone I don't see anything wrong with it. You go Michele! you are my inspiration i wanna be with you after graduated eventho I'm older than you but you are really brave and positive ❤❤❤

My family have always really struggled financially and I know for a fact if my parents could afford to, they would help me in whatever way they could. People who are criticising that have obviously never lived a day of poverty in their life because they would see how hard it is and how you wouldn’t wish the struggle on anyone else. Keep doing your thing and don’t pay them any attention ❤️

Hey Michelle - Adulting never stops, we all are constantly growing, learning and adapting. Negativity is more about the other person that it is to do with you, saying that, it can be understandably hard when receiving it, so its important to have a healthy way of dealing with it and not internalising it. You are growing beautifully and keep doing what you are doing, you cant (nor should you want to) make everyone happy. Congratulations on producing more merch, looking forward to seeing it xx 💖👑

I’m usually a silent viewer but this vlog hit me hard. I’ve been on the fence about starting a new project but the fear of failing gets me. Thanks for sharing Michelle. I'm a lot older than you and I love watching your life in NYC. What you shared is a part of my life I never got to experience. I got married and had a kid. I am very very blessed for the family I have today and find you very brave, adventurous, expanding yourself and accepting life and opportunities as it comes - one step at a time. I always encourage my child to never stay the same and be stagnate. To always know there is room for improvement and I feel you are never stagnate and am always improving getting to know the best version of yourself much as possible. Maybe it’s because I’m in LA and work in the service industry, so I see a lot of extravagance and how people spend their money.. but I don’t think you’re overly indulgent. I also rushed into my first apartment and am paying too much for the stuff we have to deal with! But it is a learning process, especially when you live in cities with the highest cost of living. When people make assumptions I find it’s helpful to remind myself that the things they’re making assumptions about(my life) do not affect their lives so they’re just being nosy. Also- I see plenty of people who ARE supported by their parents or a sugar daddy/mama and the way you spend you seem to spend your time or money is so the opposite of what happens here in LA

I really hope you know the people who are giving you hate or non-constructive criticism, are just trolling. I've been really into your videos lately and it really motivates me to clean my room, go out more. I am a more extraverted person of introverts, but I'm still an introvert and it's really hard for me to get close to people, it literally will take me a good year to get close to someone.
