I love girl talk! Recently I've been struggling with gaining 60 lbs in the last couple years and the changes my body had gone through in such a short time. After realizing the real battle was the one within myself, I had become fully aware that I was the one who had put myself in that situation. But also that I also have the power to change and become the person I strive to be. I have lost 10 lbs so far, and still have 50 to go. But my mental health has been strengthened tremendously. And I have accepted all the stretch marks I've gained as a story of what I had gone through when I gained weight and the person I was then. As to remind me to keep moving forward and to keep pushing through. 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽

i have HIPS and i’m pretty petite, i’m only five feet tall and for a long time i was so insecure about them, no matter how much weight i lost my hips were always so wide and i hated it. it wasn’t until i started reconnecting with my Mexican indigenous roots that i realized it was a blessing. nowadays having hips seems to be the new trend so i feel you! your body is great Michelle!! we often let new beauty standards dictate our lives but we can’t live like that forever. the self love journey is a long one, but always worth it!

Aside from all the comments why they like michelle’s vlog how we are all relatable. The main reason why I like watching her vids is because she’s not pretentious at all! No makeup, hair just hanging not even brush and the things she does are what we also do at home to picture perfect for the sake of vlog like other vloggers did. No perfectly eyebrows done, contour, loads of makeup. She’s so simple, naturally beautiful and the thing she does is what we are exactly in real life!

I can absolutely understand the feeling of knowing one has achieved a lot and feels proud of that...but in some settings we start to feel like it's not good enough. It can get very frustrating but as long as it is just a temporary feeling and we are really happy about what we do & proud - then that's all that matters ♡ As long as you are proud of yourself, you don't need anyone else's approval. (you never need that anyways)
