@@jamuraisack5503 I think it was something about how she was seeing some events happening all over the country in august...except she later says she didn't actually go herself but heard stories....and then she was criticising the sources in the main stream media, but she's also baseing her own account on sources and not direct observation....something like that. I don;t know, something like that. Her criticism was hypocritical basically. Anyway, it was 2 months ago, and we're clearly missing the prior comments so, yeah...

Love hearing those stories from Hollie! Most Americans will never set foot in Afghanistan, but we hear about it continually in the news. Hollie let’s us travel with her to see what it’s really like.
What an incredibly brave person! I served in Afghanistan twice and always think of the Viet Nam vets who have been able to go back and see the land/people. Afghanistan is such a beautiful place and I would love to be able to go back. I am not sure that will ever happen but maybe. Awesome interview Mike. It’s sad to learn how corrupt the Afghan government was and how our military knowing swept it under the rug. Imagine that’s what happens when you try to defeat and enemy and nation build at the same time. Neither is done 100%. Learning about the level of poverty is heartbreaking.
Wow, one of your best in my opinion. Couple things……were you under the weather while doing this interview? Your demeanor was so much more calm which I enjoyed. Also, in the interviews I’ve seen you do with women, your behavior is very different and a welcome change! Also didn’t know you owned a button down shirt! Hollie’s book is wonderful. Glad you interviewed her again.

Mike, reaching out for guidance if you see this. Struggling with how to handle a situation. I’m a experienced strong dog owner but having issues caused by my own fuck ups. I have a dominant 200lb mastiff uncut who I purposely intended on protecting my family at all cost. He’s a great dog but will back down to no one but me, and sometimes will push me a little . He’s hyper protective of everyone in the family (pack) including the fucking cats. He’s given a couple low mastiff growls and a little nip at my daughter once which he got the shit beat out of him for. I struggled with that or putting a bullet in him. He’s not a bad dog just a strong one. I’m who didn’t do the proper socializing, but my concern was him protecting my family in my absence. He’s smart , and responds to the simplest of training. That being said he’s a mastiff who’s distrustful and cautious. He’s also very sensitive and remembers everything. I’m sure you’ll have many strong criticisms about my mistakes. I’m hoping you have something that can help.

I am curious if the statement that 99% of the worlds heroine production originates in Afghanistan is in a way both why we stayed there to support big pharma but also why we left so irresponsibly because the opioid epidemic is such a political hot button but also no longer as profitable?
Interesting take and very informative...the young and obviously intelligent young lady has done her work...being born and raised on the Reservation, these conditions are similar in various ways for Natives here in the "U.S."
Afghanistan is Afghanistan...life has not changed in so long and that is all they know...if you allow nature to take its course in Afghanistan it will 100% go back to its baseline...there is a country not far away that predominantly functions on a similar level of corruption...not talking Venezuela either...think south of the border

Hey Mike, as much as you'd wanna see countries like this helped, it's gonna be a drop in the bucket. Just put the pictures together -no money, medicines or any semblance of an economy or education system to climb out of this situation and yet hospital floors full of babies! Only hope to make them see reality is education and not sure if anyone would even try that route.

That's interesting that the suicide bombers are respected the most and are held at the highest honor. I always thought that it was the other way around and the Suicide bombers were people that were outcast or someone that the Taliban or ISIS didnt want to live anymore
Yes think about it though. These suicide bombers are carrying out the most important attacks. This is how they do the most damage, so of course the bomber will be praised for carrying out Allahs plan as they call it. The bomber would have to be me an extremely trusted person to follow through with such a plan
They’re giving their life to their god in order to further their cause. Same as me joining the Army at 31 and leaving my wife and kids to go fight those fuckers in order to better my families life. There’s some interesting parallels between such a delusional ideology and a regular guys life who is striving to be more.

Anyone who was in Afghanistan during the American retreat knows this woman is a complete liar. There is even video of the Taliban executing people who worked with Americans. Her optimistic outlook is not born out by the facts on the ground, just ask the Marines who were there.
Its sounds like According to her life is just fine basically normal under the taliban they aren't evil. I highly doubt that. We were there killing the taliban for a reason. If they were just fine at running Afghanistan we would've left like 10 years ago.

You do realize the Bush administration gave the Taliban millions of dollars just a few months before 9/11. They also funded the Taliban in the 80s to fight the Soviets. The US government is a hypocritical joke to the rest of the world.
