Carnitas. Good choice. There is a spot by my office that does $1 on Tuesdays... but they are just meat thrown onto some tortillas. This is really lavish.
my hometown... there’s a lot of good places in Frisco you can find good food at for around a dollar or so. Even near the Pier, or in Powell St. you’ll be surprised.
I don't live in China town San Francisco but I visited there like a lot and I loved the food there but now that my grandma passed away I haven't been there as much. Man the food there are good, probably because I am Asian but its good food like from my childhood.
We have four Chinatowns in San Francisco. You were in the first one which is the original and the oldest one. The second one is on Clement Street in the Richmond District. The third one is on Irving Street in the Sunset District west of the the Taco Shop at 1824 Irving where you were at. The fourth one is on Noriega Street in the Outer Sunset. Oakland across in the East Bay also has its own Chinatown.
I love how you always make friends of people where you go. I was on the Riley for a while once a meant this nice old couple and they told me some places to go. I love San Fran.
DUDE! you go to the Chinese Bakery that I go to! I live in Sacramento and ANYtime we go to SF we go to that bakery to get some pork buns to take home. Really cheap and super good! :) Also if you want a really good place to eat check out Wo Hop in NYC Chinatown (from ny and my family knew the owner May. :)
I live in SF, and let me tell you, TRY THE BOBA. I don't think any city other than SF has the kind of boba variety. They aren't that expensive so go try them (Unless you already have)
