Hello. Ive just found your channel. Your cottage is beautiful, and you have decorated it so lovely. I live in an 1860s house in England and it has so many quirky characteristics, not a straight line in the house. We are hoping to have a logburner installed, we have no chimneys so we will have a chimney flue up the side of the house. Thank you for sharing your little home with us ❤ Xxx

It's bigger than our house 😂 ohhhh...I grew with Grimm's storys, it's my childhood. We didn't have story like those from Disney in my country only after 1995 if I remember 🤔 and my first book was "Snow White" . The book was exactly with pictures like original cartoon.

Really old houses had low ceilings because people used to be much shorter in the past! And then you have that huge ceiling which is crazy too. @@MyMoonstoneKitchen Not sure of your location, but I live in NJ, and whenever I go on historical tours, there are always low ceilings in the houses. I remember as a kid, someone asked why the ceilings were so low, and it was explained. When visiting one of Washington's headquarters here, they stated how he was tall (like six feet compared to people who were much shorter) and that they made his home a little taller. I have since visited many other areas where they even have old 1800s styled dresses of women on mannequins, and you can see how very short the women were especially back then. I think only the Dutch immigrant houses had higher ceilings. Anyway, thanks for responding (sorry for my long comments).
