Nice to see you back guys! Bummer about the awning, these things happen. We love the South West, such a beautiful area and Ferguson Valley is top notch. We had a feeling you were going to become a mobile weigh family LOL, good on you and nice to see Cam and Angela again. We got some helpful hints from watching your weigh video, and had the good fortune to be weighed by the travelling weigh earlier this year. We were under…partly because of your video. Cheers.
Hey guys, great to have you back on RU-vid in your regular time slot! Wow, that tornado really caused some damage to your van! I think you’ve well and truly endured your fair share of bad luck, so hopefully that’s it from here on in🤞But I love how you keep on smiling in the face of adversity 👍 The first vlog back was GREAT; I really enjoyed it 😃 You guys slipped straight back into your RU-vid personas with ease-it’s as if you never left 😃 So that’s a ‘not rusty’ vote from me 😉 In fact, you looked so relaxed, which is full credit to you guys given how busy you’ve been over the last 3 months.Looking forward to seeing you guys next week 👍 Take care and stay safe. Kind regards, Corrie 😀
@GoYourOwnWay49 thanks corrie, we appreciate it. We do sometimes feel unlucky, but then also blessed to be doing what we are doing. I'm excited to share next week's vid, I think we shook off the cob webs for it. See you next week.
Hey guys, it's great to see you back on the road and to see the four of you after so long. You didn't seem 'rusty' 😂 Thank goodness that you and the kids weren't hurt Mel. Hope the repairs don't take too long, and you're able to find somewhere "cheap" to stay - $70 a day won't go far. What a nuisance for you. The website is impressive and good luck with all your business plans. We were in WA for a wedding a few years ago and went to Gnomesville on the way back up to Perth - it's worth seeing. See you next week. Safe travels, Lyn ❤️
@lynbond5126 thanks guys, felt rusty haha next week's is improved in our opinion haha. Gnomesville was really cool, wonder if it looked bigger for us compared to you?
Good to see you back. I have been free camping around the same area as you have at the same time, I got the destructive winds warning from BOM website so headed away from Bunbury/Mandurah area for 1 week....great website to do a daily check on if you are a vanner. Good luck on the business as I also looked into doing exactly the same business 12 months ago to supplement my travelling income but came to the conclusion that it was likely I would spend more than I earnt....1. Being nomadic means that it is hard to establish a client base unless you are prepared to spend time in caravan parks instead of free camping 2. people would not spend the money required to ensure they are road legal as most just don't care, and those that kinda care would use a public weighbridge at a lot lower cost (even though the results are inferior they are still OK) If they ever bring laws and/or enforcement of those laws into effect for the 95% of vanners out there who do travel overweight...THEN...the business model is great. However, I am keen to keep following along so that you can prove to me that I was wrong, which I hope I am.
We were stuck there do to training and commitments, I would loved to have left haha. Re. The buisness, it's certainly only a supplemental income, as you have noticed I have diversified a lot. It's only early days but so far it's performing as I expected. Thanks for watching.
Only other places we have experienced that is Alice Springs and Seisa (Cape York). Its fine we took precautions and nothing was pinched, the South West is a beautiful place to explore.
This applies to everything you do not just camping, have you heard the saying " A fool and his money are soon parted" you have led a sheltered life if you have not run into thievery everywhere not just Bunbury.
