@@marcianastasia5564 Yeah, it's not as exaggerated as when it's spelled that way, but it's definitely different that in the U.S. where the emphasis is on "out" ("owt"). We had a Canadian family live with us for about six months back some 15 years ago, and I picked up on it then. I guess it's more like "aboat". It's the one way I can tell an English speaker from Canada from one in the U.S.
Oh wild, yeah that makes sense - when I worked with a bunch of Australians they told me my Canadian accent was very thick and I couldn’t believe them because to me a thick Canadian accent is very different than mine haha but I am Canadian so what do I know. it all sounds normal to me
Sounds like humidity hasn’t been hateful. I assume molding would become an issue and then the last thing you’d want is a damp bedsheet. Congrats on your channel growth last couple weeks!
Thanks! Yeah my friends did the bed sheet thing and said it was amazing but I’ve been skeptical seeing as mold is an issue with vans. I’m sure wouldn’t be a huge problem for like only two days though
Idk how you do it, but that must take some skill that I do not have. I could definitely not handle that every summer but southern California is stunning so I bet it’s worth it
Was surfin' Ytube and caught a glimpse of your name, did a hard hook left and came to see who would pick that handle. Am impressed with you and your content. Maybe one day I will be told the origin of your name. It is very good of you to be providing this much safety information. You are providing good alternatives/options, thank you for bringing that awareness...
PS: Sleeping in a hammock can let cooling air circulate around your body instead of being trapped in a mattress. Damp sheets work well here too, top and bottom.
I love hammocks! Didn’t even think of using one but wow yeah that would definitely be a lottt cooler. The van just traps the heat in and it’s so hard to get it out.
