I currently am renting a apartment in Buckhead. I'm a middle aged black man. Dating has been challenging in Atlanta. I'm still learning my way around the city despite living here for 7 years. I run into a lot of women who did NOT prepare themselves financially when they were younger. They are good looking but broke as hell. They are looking for someone to pay their bills, and are not shy about saying it. I have gone on dates with a few doctors and lawyers, however I gave up on these types. They tend to look down on men, and expect you to cater to them because of their academic and professional accomplishments. To me Atlanta is a good place to come to play. If all you want to do is smash and dash, come on down. If you are looking for a quality filled relationship, Atlanta probably is not the best place to look. It is just too superficial down here.
