Bacolod City: A metropolitan area with a countryside Vibes. You can still breathe fresher air compared to other major cities in the country.Less Traffic congestion compared to other major cities.has a good Road Network.Fruits and Vegies are cheap and fresh if you know where to find the right place to get them.Foods are great.People are friendly..always finding ways to smile...

Having spent 3 weeks in Bacolod this year, I can say this video is fairly accurate. Shopping in the malls and big grocery stores, they are much like the ones in the US. Having fresh fruits and vegetables available at very low prices was nice. It was easy to get around using Jeepneys, tricycles, or taxis. The people were friendly and it was easy to do business.

A modern living with a lot to smile, it proves that expat are getting what their wish for , The medical infrastructure can be compare to other mid to high rise cites , telecommunication are at par and higher when the city uprade their backbone industry the difference is the ambiance that others don't have, there will be more improvement when the city again won the ease of doing business category for this year 2021, other amities and lifestyle can be explore in the neighbor cities which could be part of a metro soon

Everything sounds good. But why is nothing mentioned about how to deal with the annual typhoons. Obviously a home would have to be made of cement with steel beams in order to survive the strong winds and floods. I would like to hear from other expats who have moved to Bacolod and how they are dealing with home security and safety issues.

Jamie dropping bangers after bangers. Jamie's any chance you could cover some of the urban areas? Like good cities to live? Apart from Manilla of course.
