Arvin is killing it. He’s put out a video everyday for the last 9 days - I think he’s trying to tell us something important! I’m pretty sure I heard at least 4 great pieces of advice.

As you have shown, the original renders for this house were beautiful, and this house doesn't look anything like that. You're also right that every house he does now looks just like this. His last 4-5 homes had the exact same design. He had one in Brentwood a few years ago that was like this, only the wood was darker throughout the home. I'm also not big on these huge moss/live walls.

Ya the moss /live walls ages really fast… ya if I wanted to buy a $30M home I wouldn’t want that house to have a replica… let’s be honest …. Ramin’s designs are not quite Richard Neutra … at least not yet

I live in Hamptons, NY. In this price range I get much bigger house over here. But the drawback is the none other than property tax.

Thanks for your videos, Arvin. I really like them. Surprised you don't like the socalled 'upside down' houses. In my opinion, they provide the best living experience for a few reasons, but let's just talk about the most important one of them: 1. Your car/garage, main living areas/kitchen, and master bedroom are typically all on the same level. Therefore, you won't need to keep using the stairs to access these most used areas of the home. They're just a breeze to live in. Once you hit the 40s and tried an upside down house, your knees would probably love it so much that they are likely to disagree with any regular type house where the kitchen and master bedroom are on different floors, thereafter.

Thanks for your feed back great valid points…. This is why I prefer one story homes and I value them more …. There are just no stairs …. Problem solved …. In regards to the master bedroom and the garage being on the ground level of an upside home …. There are many normal two story homes that have a the master bedroom on the ground level …very common in Texas ….

How would you rate the location. I’m thinking it’s not as great lower bel air or north of sunset Beverly Hills or else it would have been way more expensive

Yes definitely not as good as the locations u mentioned … but Somera is certainly better than Stradella (no traffic) … but the problem here is that this house is on the wrong side of the street …. Then other side gets the more desirable view of down town LA
