I know this video came out in 2021 but I just got accepted into MSU and am planning to live in Blanton. This video really helped me get a sense of what it's going to be like. Thank you so much
I went to MSU back in the day. So long ago that the food court didn't exist it was just one big cafeteria. I did enjoy my MSU experience though! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
I go to Montclair ... Trust me everyone just mine their own business and pretty much go to class and leave. That's it, nothing interesting . College experience is not as I expected TBH!!! 😂😭
Nice to meet you. I just saw your other video on pro and con at MSU. I agree with you. This school needs to have a better environment for their students if they want their students parents to pay
I lived in 5B27 and a few other rooms. There's nothing like the fun of being a young adult among other students living on campus. I lived at Clove Rd too. I can't wait to check out the new dorms when I go back to finish my degree. Gotta get my grades up at a CUNY.
Hey! The heights are definitely a bit nicer (physically), but are a bit more expensive. They’re also quieter. Blanton is more lively and a bit more affordable. The rooms are a bit smaller. I personally chose Blanton because it worked for my budget better and I didn’t mind sharing the bathroom and stuff!
how’s student life at montclair, especially with covid? i’m thinking about committing here but everywhere i read about student life ppl say it’s dull or boring :/
I had a question about the types of storage that you used. I watched your other video and loved how you decorated your dorm, and since I am dorming next fall I just wanted to ask were you got them. Thnxs. :)
Honestly MSU doesn’t have a lot of graduates and most of them likely commute. So the few graduates would be in heights, village, hawks, Russ, Blanton. Village + hawks is most popular for sure bc they have a kitchen and more freedom
I think It’s pretty hard, especially with Covid. Before Covid it was easier but social life isn’t the most exciting here. Most people commute or leave for weekends
