@@AdelaPhilipson Well since we’re moving from a major Northeast city, we don’t own a car right now although that’s something we will look into depending on where we live. We currently have an ebike that goes 50mph so getting around is no biggie lol. Ideally, we would want to live walking distance to Florida Atlantic University & close to the ocean. Our budget will most likely be no more than $2,000-$2,500 a month on rent which I’ve heard we would be able to get a nice 1-2 bedroom apartment in that price :)
Ebikes are becoming more popular here, but definitely will need a vehicle. There isnt alot within walking distance to FAU, most people drive there. I would recommend getting a place near the ocean at least near Mizner Park and Downtown Boca where all the action is. FAU would still be 7 mins drive from there. But realistically the ocean is close regardless of where you live. East Boca is the best. That is a healthy price range, probably closer to $2500.
