I lived in Buenos Aires for nearly 10 years. I first went to Argentina 2005 then it was 3.7 pesos to US dollars 💸. I lived in the Congreso neighborhood. It was a great and safe neighborhood and convenient to all the other neighborhoods in Buenos Aires.

Hey Mark. I also spent some time in the Congreso neighborhood back in 2007. And then in 2012, I lived in Belgrano and loved it there too.

I'm local in Buenos Aires, there is a great Nomad's community. We use Whatsapp groups and a slack group that help us organize meetings. Also there is a weekly meeting :)

I'm looking to retire in Argentina from the US here in the next few years. I'm not big on city life. I would like to relocate in one of the smaller cities or villages. Are you required to have a certain amount of money deposited into an Argentine bank before you can get a retirement visa? Also, is it possible to purchase a car with an automatic transmission in Argentina?

I wouldn't say we can live with inflation but we have no other option thanks to the central bank
