Hi there! Thanks for the awesome video! I'm wondering how's public transportation around there? Asking because my husband and I will be PCS'ing to Fort Meade this summer and I'm looking into hospitals for work.. and we only have 1 car. :)

Very cool! I personally have not used them but the MARC train and light rail will get you in to Baltimore and DC depending on were you need to go. I would look more into those! Let me know if you have any other questions :)

No it’s not terrible. If you look up the stats it’s better than the national average in terms of snowfall

Here's a question for you. Why does every house and condo here, that i've seen, have only 7 ft. Ceilings?

That's a great question, and I have always thought the same thing! I'm 6'4 so I always feel too big a lot of the places and having to duck a lot 😂

Columbia has been around for a long time. Back in the days of the energy crisis it was an option to get lower ceilings. It was an energy saving feature.

What would the rent be like for someone single moving into the area? I guess something like 1bed 1 bath apartment or studios?

@@livinginmaryland7837 Thanks! Also any advise on how to search when you're out of state? I'm on the west coast so once I move should I stay in some temp place for like a few week to a month so I can search locally? or wou ld it be safe to directly rent even if I haven't been there?
