As a born and raised Floridian theirs two types of New yorkers. 1. Those that integrate well and enjoy the finer things of a southern lifestyle. (Like actual land and well mannered people). And 2. The ones that talk about how great it is and treat it like it physically is New york. You arent fooling us, you wouldnt be here if it wasnt better here. We arent intimidated because we know that. Don't believe what this New York buzzard says on this video in the Tampa area the humidity is bad especially in the summer, and I pray you have generators if your electricity goes out in stormy weather. If it is one thing that can happen you will likely get fat coming to Florida because it is not pleasant going outside for barely a hour. Unless you can afford your own weight room or work out membership.
As someone from Long Island NY I feel horrible for all of the genuine southerners who are being forced to put up with all the northern transplants that are moving to the south in droves who try to make their new (and better) state EXACTLY like the one they just left 🤦🏻♂️
giustino suarez- i dont think southerners realize there culture is a huge negative. northerners flock down there simply because of the weather. florida wouldnt be much without northnerners moving down there with their money.
@@rymosey174 you would be alabama without us dude. miami and orlando are the only touristy areas in your state because of a huge northern presence and our entreprenuers. Tampa has few northerners in it hence the boring nature of it.

@@wolfygaming434 New York, while having great sightseeing/tourist attractions and street food (at least most of the time..), that place is one of the worst places to live in America at the moment. From high taxes to high crime (partly from the BLM riots) to nursing home killer Governor Cuomo, no wonder New York’s population is decreasing steadily now each year. Probably even more now due to the BLM riots and coronavirus. Though to be fair, I rather take New York than California.

I am from South Florida. born in 1954...Don't mind New Yorkers at all. My only suggestion to folks moving from anywhere to Florida, is to say "please" and "thank you" while engaging in social discourse...it isn't difficult and makes for a more pleasant living environment in the Sunshine State.

C D Peace and Quiet? Depends on where you live. Remember, Florida has a higher population than New York now. It's the 3rd largest most populous state in the nation. New York is 4th.. most of New York is New York state. I would say that Florida is more sprawling and busy than New York is unless you live in NYC.
I am from South Florida and we are the South. Just because we have been infiltrated by Cubans and Northerners doesn't mean we haven't kept our culture. Not only that, all of Florida is inhabited by outsiders. The difference is that those outsides have been here for over 20 years so they lie and say they are natives. But real Floridians know.
When the legislature does stuff that should be acceptable in the south, it’s always some Miami “republican” stopping a bill to undo what some other Miami politician did though.
Lol...yeah it's true what they say, the further south you go in Florida the further north you actually get in terms of culture. The true south goes a little bit further past Jacksonville to I would say Volusia county / Daytona Beach area.
