I'm not because mzungu who got chance to own land in Africa are dangerous sell out of Africa. Now if Caucasian wanna tiget Africa they use this mzungu that been accepted in Africa. Vanessa welcome as Ghanaian.but full mzungu must be on conditional living in africa as black immigrants experience in Europe.

@@abotsia because he was probably there to exploit and abuse ghanaian people, like most nonblack people in Africa are. i doubt she cares though. views and selling out her "own" people and land is good enough for her to overlook anything questionable about a random man with white skin. and of course africans in the comments are eating it up. pathetic.

i think the issue is africans wanting to implement western style development. it is very eye-opening that someone that values nature would choose africa over Europe and north America, this means that africans use to work with nature rather than against. We need to revive ecological importance within African societies, because the youth are losing their connection to nature.
@ffk9660
@ffk9660 3 года назад
@@livingfinanceSo my take on what you said is that most things we do(or lack of doing) all comes to bad governance. Let me give you an example, i am a Ghanaian living here in the Netherlands. Let's say one bought a house and a tree stands in the way, so you wanted to get rid of it. No-way. You need first to contact your district authorities for them to grant you an authorization. Even then they still might refuse that permission. Heard of such in Africa? Poor governance.
@livingfinance
@livingfinance 3 года назад
@@ffk9660 I agree bad leadership is definitely a big problem, but I think that the population need to operate despite the bad leadership and realize that good social order will impact them positively in the long run.
@ffk9660
@ffk9660 3 года назад
@@livingfinance So as much as i understand your points, let me also remind you that without punishment, humans will break any law with impunity. Be it from God or whoever. Here in the Netherlands, it's an offence to urinate anywhere outside of toilets yet people do it because such moments, there isn't any police around. One needed to pay tax on a pet dog or face penalties. People wait to walk their dogs in the deep of nights just to avoid such taxes. So it's human nature. Do nothing and everything stays the same if not worse. Spare the rod and spoil the child.

The only darkness in the Congo was in Joseph Conrad’s heart. That book was typical of the Eurocentric view of Africans back then, and pretty much gave justification for the Genocide in the Congo that preceded it’s publication, and the exploitation by “missionaries” that followed. Just saying...

Unfortunately, the idea that development has to involve clearing whole swaths of land for building has created lots of concrete jungles. Africa needs to innovate by creating semi-evergreen communities to control warming and increase the quality of the environment which in turn makes the quality of life much better. That air view shows that there's still time to rectify.

African countries has the opportunity to develop by learning from the mistakes of the past. The negative affects of deforestation is felt every year all over the globe. It is very sad to see people with a certain amount of education still putting their economic interesting first. It is possible to have economic developments without destroying your most precious asset , that is your own environment. There are better ways if only we had better people. I am from Brasil and it pains to me to see the jungle destroyed there too. ❤️🇧🇷

I graduated from TSU Tennessee State University school of agriculture. I understand you being bi-racial you are open to ALL that’s good Vanessa K. But I would say most of your audience is diaspora of Africa. We in the States always see the Europeans doing good things. When showing Black people on tv in America 🇺🇸 they show prisons, robbery etc. That’s why I like Wode Maya channel. He’s in touch with showing the diaspora African Americans the side of Africa that the mainstream (white) media won’t show us. We were stolen from West Africa, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria. etc. so we want to have the knowledge about our people. Don’t get me wrong I love your content but it’s so many African agriculture people that you could have chosen to interview instead of a man from Boston. Did you know that Boston is one of the most racist cities in America? I cringed when he said he’s from Boston. I’m sorry just when I see mother Africa I see home that looks like me, Im 56 years old and everyday in America I don’t see blacks representing in a positive way. I have never been to Africa but this coming May I will be home. My wife and I are hoping to start a medical clinic. She’s an OB/GYN. I hope I did not offend you just educating you from a black man perspective. White supremacy sometimes is unnoticeable.
