In today’s video, we’re going to take a tour of Hespeler Village in Cambridge Ontario and some of the surrounding area. Hespeler Ontario has long been known for big box stores, malls, chain restaurants and a busy highway twenty-four, but what a lot of people fail to realize is that there is a beautiful community tucked away in the north end of Hespeler Village with quaint shops, parks, trails, and more.
Hespeler amalgamated with Preston, Galt, and the hamlet of Blair back in 1973 to form what is now Cambridge Ontario. Most people travel to this part of Cambridge when they’re in need of a Best Buy, Home Depot, or car dealership, but just off Highway twenty-four, north of the 401 highway sits Hespeler Village. The Village is northeast of Kitchener and can be easily accessed from the 401 via the Townline Road or Highway twenty-four exits. The village lies on the Speed River with lots of scenic views, private restaurants, mom-and-pop shops, and is surrounded by some highly sought-after real estate.
