Great idea, thank you. I did car living for over a year, the worst was summer time, winter's were easy. I'm gonna be moving back to my car full-time and really need to find ways to stay comfortable in the summer. This will definitely help.
Yeah post the yoga etc and this video was great, I live in my car so all tutorials help expand my mind and it's hot as crap luckily I got a goal zero yeti 150 and 4 beaudens power stations lol with plenty of fans, keep up the good work eventually I'll film something and upload
No heat doesn’t rise. Hot air rises. It rises because it’s less dense. Moving hot air is far less efficient than moving cool air. Push cool air in….you’ll move more air, and the cool air pushes out the hot air.
this is a good idea but the fan will be weak with USB power. You need a 12v fan power. this idea could damage your stereo device for a big fan 12 fan to a USB 5v.
I would imagine he's definitely venting the hot air out. Especially since heeat gets trapped in cars and specially around the roof area. If you want to pull cool air in you'd probably want the vent somewhere under the car where it's shaded and the air is cooler
I think the design is flawed and would sag too much after a few hours of direct sunlight. A better approach would be to make much smaller side window inserts with the usb fans included.
They're computer fans; you can get them off of amazon. like these: www.amazon.com/uphere-3-Pack-Computer-120mm-Cooling/dp/B072LDYKQ6/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=computer+fans&qid=1623374235&sr=8-3
I saw a video of a family that had eight fans. Four on each side of their car window. They used four fans on one side of the car to suck new air in and four fans on the other side to suck old air out. You could maybe try that.
