I'm glad I found your channel. You're doing what I've been thinking with the delivery apps. I've been doing for three years in my hometown, and I've been working on getting my car ready for my road trip/car life. I plan on leaving once my taxes for 2023 are paid. :) Doing deliveries will help with the money problem, so it's awesome finding another who uses them. :)
I'm from Texas . Have been to many of other states. New Mexico, Utah Arizona and the awesome state Colorado. Have been to Missouri and Kentucky and Oklahoma and Louisiana too
Hi Rowan, thank you for taking us along, i think its good your doing your "homework" with the tiny home and "trying a few on for size" awesome on the doordash Rowan as well 😊
You are really good at this. I cannot imagine being in cities and not knowing my way around and usually in a good amount of traffic doing door dashing. Wow 😮 you are good at this. So glad you are doing ok. Be safe. 😊
Yay for hitting your goal! That's awesome! 🎉 Thanks for sharing your life with us, I'm learning alot from you. Someday I'm gonna get out there and follow in your footsteps!
I love your videos! I'm sitting here binge watching all of them. You seem like a truly lovely person and I love the cosy little nest you've created there
Hi Rowan, Gosh gotta love those tiny homes. I was able to view the tear drop camper. They really stepped up their game. They now have bathroom with toilets and shower not to mention good size closet. Oh and the kitchen in the back has a sink, stove, nice size pull out counters, and storage. What I really liked was the overhead rain protector when you are cooking. So tiny home versus the big homes you see there in Georgia…I’d rather clean a tiny home so I can have more time to myself. I hope you make your quota that would be nice. I’m cheering for you!!! 💛 From Norther California 🌸🌺.
I am hoping you get you a tiny house! You can still travel all you care too. It is affordable and you know how to hassle a buck . It would be a blessing for you. Home base is a win.
So glad I found a place to comment I enjoy you so much I’m surprised I enjoy the cookojng you do I like being able to cook on a small scale I live alone and to cook on a burner is great I’m also amaze how you take everything in stride broken wiper was nothing to you good for you Good luck I ll be following you wishing Inwas on the road
I have been a dasher since 2018. You have to set a limit to what you accept. Like decline everything under 6$. Because why your busy running those 4$ offers, your missing the higher paying ones. I also do instacart and ride share. I usually dash late night because i get peak pay. Good luck. Im in Florida
I visited Incredible Tiny Homes in Newport Tennessee last March. We went there specifically to visit the community and see the homes. We made a reservation on Airbnb to stay in one of the few tiny homes on their property. The homes are owned privately, mostly by the residents there and rented only on the Airbnb website. We stayed in a very cute gray one on the beach with an aqua door. It was absolutely wonderful very cute and cozy. There were large storms while we were there but the home felt very safe and secure even with the high winds. I would definitely consider purchasing a home from them and I think their community is wonderful and serving a huge need, mostly for older ladies. They have a very safe and tight-knit community. I am so excited that you got to visit and see the place for yourself.
I looked into a TH neighborhood in Hendersonville, NC. $170.000 That’s the price of a small house in the area! Plus you have to Rent the lot, they wanted over $600 a month. It had some amenities, but not a lot. I’m excited to hear about this place. They’re a little shorter but even the ones they sell around the corner are $100,000. And then you still have to put it somewhere!! I’m gonna see if I can find the place you looked at though! It’s giving me ideas!
That’s expensive!! Yea, check them out! They have a range of prices for the tiny homes and the lot rent for the places they have if you’d want to be there is about $300. There were some for $200 but they might have gone up.
Im a brand new subscriber and really enjoy your videos. I placed my 1st door dash order a week ago for food. I'm hoping I tipped well enough, it was a 17.00 Chick Fil A order, I was shocked it said it would be delivered in 18 minutes, on the app I tipped the driver 6.00 because it was so quick, the food came in fifteen minutes, super hot, drink icy cold so I added a 5.00 cash tip to the driver telling him it was the first time I'd used door dash, he was so happy, it made my life so much easier I'll definitely be doing it again. What's a good rule of thumb? I was so disappointed we didn't get to see the tiny home tour, I've been thinking about taking that route, the value to that company would only benefit them by us seeing what's offered. Keep up the great job in setting your goals, bravo and thx.
Hi Rowan 😊 yay door dashing... woohoo you did great earning $150. How fun are tiny homes... like you I will own land and put a tiny house on it and grow fruit and vegetables. Im glad you know what your options are and can visualize now exactly what you want. Our thoughts become our reality 😊 see you on the next one 😊🍓
Yes!! It was really good to actually spend time inside of them and feel what I would like. It helps the visualization! Thank you for the encouragement! 😊🍓
Just found your channel I hope to do this in the Spring/Summer ;)) I wanted to last year, but I guess the universe didn't want me too ;) I love your car design!
Like the busy earnin' soundtrack with the dashing clips. On a side note, if you include product endorsements in your videos, don't do it for free. Email the marketing department of whichever product you like and feel like giving props to in your videos beforehand and ask them if they can offer you something for your marketing efforts. The RU-vid channel is your intellectual property and should be worth money, especially to large corporate entities.👍✌️
Rowan, you are such a cuttie. Love your energy. Glad you got to look at the tiny homes. Love that you are committed to earning some buck Door Dashing. Thank you for sharing your adventures. Do you have a tip jar somewhere on your page?
You are going to exceed your goal.May Jehovah God bless you and keep you safe.l noticed there was a kingdom hall near conyers Ga so just a suggestion but they would give you a brand new Bible to keep in your car with you.Take Care Of Yourself.
Wooooo!!! You’re in my happy place 🤗 ATL. If you go to up north to Alpharetta to Cumming area up by Lake Lanier you can make $150 a day & every ride is an adventure. Hope this helps!
So fun you are checking out tiny homes! I can watch tiny home RU-vid-channels for ever. I just watched a video about a place that looks very nice in NC called Acony Bell Village. Do you know of that place? Anyway, guess you will figure out what kind of tiny home that works best for you at the end. Great job with the door dashing, you go girl! Stay safe 🤩💜
I have seen the videos on Acony Bell and they look very nice, however I understand they are full and hardly ever have anything come available because they are a very small community.
Go girl go!! Do you multi app? Great vlog . Happy you got to check out the tiny homes and gave you ideas for other avenues box truck or small school bus to convert ! Go chase those dreams ! Dash for that cash!😂
If u peel carrot skin lengthways and bin it, continue to peel in length strips and soak ur strips in hot water for a few minutes. Add ur carrot strips to any type of meat/veg and sauce and its an alternative to pasta! So yummy! I do this with mushrooms and make carbonara as i dont eat pasta. The carrot softens as u cook it in the sauce x i absolutely love ur video's. Stay safe ❤
If youre wanting somwthing that small, wouldnt a small camper be better since campers are designed to be lightweight ? I have a 13 ft boler. ( same as scamp).
You go girl. You are such a an inspiration I wanna be just like you when I grow up. Lol😂😂 Granted I'm probably older then you but you know what I mean. I don't know why I'm so nervous to start dashing I got all signed up though. Is there a reason you don't do Uber eats also or do you??
Thank you! I do Uber eats too but I haven’t recently. I make about the same amount of money but I like the way the DoorDash app functions a little better. That’s great you’re all signed up! Maybe just pick a relaxed day and try it out for an hour or two to ease into it.
@@justrowan good idea. My biggest issue is to REALLY make any money I'm gonna have to drive a half hour to 45 mins away. I live in the coast between Santa Cruz and Monterey. And all the busy spots are over the hill in the Bay area but it's kinda sketchy there. Lol I'm not sure if your familiar with where I mean. I'm about 45 mins from Stanford University and it seems to be busy over there alot. Does it give you good directions because that's what I'm most worried about because I'm not familiar with the area.
Love your channel. I'm curious how much money you make doing Door Dash. Is there a base salary, or is it per delivery, are tips extra, depends on how much the order is??? and how are you able to do it wherever you travel? With the cost of gas, do that leave you much income? What if the client is not there when you arrive? Do you have to actually handle the money, or is that all done online, or??? BTW, I've watched the Incredible Tiny Homes tours on RU-vid and I think they provide a great home at a reasonable price. Good luck! Thanks.
I hope you got large tips from some celebrities, after all you are rowan the professional delivery driver to the stars ⭐, at least for a day 😅, did any of them ask for your autograph !
🤣 so most of the orders are leave at the door and we can only guess whose doors those are!!! But maybe one of these days and I will make sure to give them my autograph ✍️ 😂
Please research your towing capacity thoroughly- I had a Ridgeline and its capacity was 5k. I’m 99% sure the Pilot is the same. My 16 ft long 8 ft wide hybrid trailer (meaning tent bed ends) was around 3200lbs. My camping trailer was made with cheap lightweight materials. I don’t think ITH would put you in an unsafe position but safer to do your own research ❤
From what I’ve looked up the Pilot can tow up to 5k and I think the smaller of the tiny homes are just under that, but you are absolutely right! I will do more research when it comes time. I’ve also thought of renting a truck to move the house to some land, but again that’s a ways down the road.
@@justrowan just learn the terms and what they mean- UVW - unloaded vehicle weight. GVWR- Gross vehicle Weight Rating. Tongue weight- has to do with the weight on the hitch. I have been towing for years and still don’t understand all of it thoroughly Just be safe!
