I love love love road trips. I love to drive. I drive for a living and when I can't go anywhere because I have to work. I go on rides with you... I have driven from Rhode Island to California, Wyoming, Florida the carolinas. I have family in all those places. It's great. Just found you a few days ago ( mid Jan '24), originally deep dive door dashers and discovered your van life simultaneously ( my other deep dive). Whoa I hit the jackpot! Chuck from Dashing Across America has unintentially taught me tipping courtesy. I put a tip with my order then leave a note with some cash on the table by my front door thanking my dasher! I actually watch the notification page showing where the dasher is. Thank you so much for your vulnerability and genuine joy for everything. Camping World sells a tiny 12v fridge anout the size of your cooler 4 about $80 US$. You don't have 2 turn it on until you need 2, so I would invest in one. Game changer. 😊🎉
You are such an inspiration to me. The closest I came to living out of my car was a drive from Orange County CA to San Antonio TX. Slept in my car in a hotel parking lot & drove on Interstate Highway 10 going East at 2:00 in the morning. It's 21 years later and I'm hoping to do some more of the same with no particular destination in mind. Just seeing different places and meeting new people. You've reminded me of how much fun and how much of an adventure life can be. Safe travels to you 😊
You need to be careful picking stuff to eat that you’re not not sure what it is lol. There is an app called “picture this” that I downloaded and all you have to do is take a picture of the plant and it’ll tell you exactly what it is. It’s really cool.

Enjoyed this one too! I have a free plant id app on my phone and it says the yellow flowered plant is 'Common Wormwood a species of Mugworts. The first plant that smelled like sweet grass was identified as being Prairie Sagewort a species of mugwort. The app is called "picture this' for plants.

Hey Rowan, I just wanted to tell you if you have a smart phone you can google pretty much anything. Just open google and click on the camera take a picture of the item and it’ll tell you what it is plants, screen shots, pretty much anything but people

Great video! I love your casual style. The first plant is called prairie sagewort or pasture sage. The second plant is common wormwood. They're both in the mugworts family.

The best weather forecaster on YT is "Ryan Hall Y'all". His weather predictions are precise. That would be good to use for your travels. If you can find an "Auto Zone" they could help with the wipers and give you a free diagnostic on maybe the cause for them stopping. Just an idea. I have no idea is that franchise is in that part of the country.
I watch Ryan Hall- he’s great!! But yea,, not before this drive lol only after I was in the middle of the storms. I learned my lesson! I’ll check out auto zone- I think they’re located all over and it’s a good place to start.
I know this video is 8 months ago, but RainX really does work to repel water in the event your windshield wipers stop working again (i trust they've been fixed).

My sister inlaw does door dash for supplemental income. I just don't see how driving long hours every day, putting wear and tear on your car to make a few extra bucks, is worth it. The numbers don't add up to me. Then you have to consider car repairs if you break down.
For me I go by a mileage pay ratio- a $2 add-on for less than half a mile so I took it. Some days I wouldn’t but I really needed the $ at that point. But that’s why I love door-dashing! We can decide for ourselves which orders to take! It’s cool you doordash too! 🙌

White sage grows in Southern California and has laws protecting it, so I wouldn’t pick it. There are a lot of varieties of sage that are more widespread than white sage, and are okay to pick in small amounts, such as desert sage, jerusalem sage and culinary sage. Hopefully that helps!
