The pretty house at 9:19 is a backpacking hostel, "背包"stands for backpacking, "客棧" means "hostel" which is an old saying in Mandarin. The Bar should be the facility of the hostel.
Looks like you study at 東海. I live in Taichung as well, welcome to Taichung. It’s not a bar but hostel though. Hope you two have lots of fun here. May Taiwan treat you well.
Hi Jenny. I'm new to your channel. To be honest with you, I really love to visit Taiwan. The last time I visited Taiwan was in the late 90's LOL! Anyway, since you're new to this country, are you planning to visit other cities there like Taipei (New Taipei) , Kaohsiung, Tainan, etc.? I wish you can do so as I really want to see places there. It would be a good content for your vlogs in the future. I am planning to visit Taiwan next year if everything is getting better, covid and restriction wise. Thanks for your simple but informative video for today. All the best and God bless.
Hi James. Welcome to my channel! It’s nice to hear that you would like to visit Taiwan again. You definitely should! Yes, I’m planning to travel around Taiwan and I will do vlogs! ;) I wish you all the best too, stay tuned!
Welcome to Taichung! I recognized in your video that you go to Tunghai University right? A great school with beautiful environment! Hope you enjoy your stay here❤ I also live nearby😊
Jenny your video is absolutely perfect I loved it. You have a nice area where you live love the food in Taipei. Keep up the good work. And keep the faith
Thank you for this video, I am planning to go to Taiwan, one is to be immersed in the language, I am currently learning mandarin which I am really enjoying. Thanks again
The weather in Taiwan at this time is really hot and humid, it's recommended to go out in the evening. If you are working on the road, it's recommended to go to the left so that you can see the approaching cars. Welcome to Taichung and wish you a happy life here.
I used to working at Medical hospital over there ~but I living in Australia now~ it’s bring a lot memory back while I watched ur vlog~ Fengjia Night Market ,it’s more popular than Tunghai
Hi Jenny ,I hope you well 😊 wow unbelievable iam from uk 🇬🇧 ,what brilliant tour guide you ,i was amazed ,i wish you best of health and success warm regards jamail
Taiwan is beautiful, I was there in 1974. There's sidewalks, but the mopeds block them. Taiwan is so far from being a third world country. Too old and sick to go visit. The people are so polite and clean.
From the start, your translation to Chinese is a little bit strange. It's funny, but We understand your meaning. It's very nice that you accept my adivce to go to the traditional markets.
Thanks for the great video, Jenny! I'm considering a job teaching in Dadu District, on the western outskirts of Taichung city. I'm wondering if you're familiar with the area and would recommend it? I enjoy smaller cities that are accessible/convenient but still have plenty of nature. Take care!
Hi Sarah, I'm not that familiar with the area because I've never been there before. But I hope you enjoy it as there are many beautiful places in Taichung 😊
Yes no doubt Jenny you speak English perfectly 👍🏼 just wanna say me as a Taiwanese open arms for you, Francis friends from Singapore and people from the world💪🏼
The list of the world's richest countries in 2022 was recently announced in the foreign media Global Finance. Taiwan made the list as the 14th richest country in the world, while China was 76th.
Taiwan is a part of Chinese territory, people there are speaking Chinese. Can you say Scotland or Alaska is a country? BTW, Taiwan's cities look like villages if you ever travelled to mainland of China. Taiwan's economy is in bad shape, people are forced to leave there...
No sidewalk! You have to be young and alert not to get killed or injured. What about the elderly and the physically disadvantaged? What about the children?
Were you born in Kyrgyzstan or Kazakh? Your English speaking is fluent and so did you study in a English-speaking country? I guess there's no problem for you to live in Taiwan permanently because you look similar to Taiwanese! Do most of Taiwanese take you as a Taiwanese or a foreigner when they first see you and before you say anything to them?
I was born in Kyrgyzstan🇰🇬 I was studying and learning English in my country, I started using it quite often when I went to China in 2016. Most people can differentiate easily that I’m not Taiwanese but some still mix when I wear a mask 😄
Indians has soft corner for Taiwan....but when I heard about Racist response from Taiwan for 1.5 billion Indian people then I think we are wrong about them 😡😡
1:50 The price of bananas in middle Taiwan is less than half of the price in my place - north Taiwan. 😫😫😫 Btw, You are cute, I think you are lovely. Have a good time in Taiwan !
