I LOVE your simplicity. You're a delight to spend my RU-vid time with. I have to agree with Ms. Singh. I have NEVER heard, seen, or ate this. I DON'T know if I would attempt to make this. One reason is I DON'T cook much anymore 😂 Dhal is HARD on my stomach. When I do cook Dhal, I would soak the peas overnight. By doing this, it reduces the amount of gas that's in the beans and peas, which caused the bloating. I do the same with chick peas or channa as we call it.

Very nice dish . How we do it in Trinidad we roll out the dough as if we are making roti and cut up in small pieces and add to the dhal .
