Thank you for this interview, we are so considering Bocas! I was born and raised on the Gulf of Mexico! The fact that the growing back damaged reefs makes a massive differnce to the health of the seas and makes me happy to see you doing this! ! I do feel more study must happen to the dead reefs, a deep chemical examination! My grand compared the reefs to the wild flowers and once said that like wind the sea currents carry the spores of dying reefs to new locations, but those spores need health places to land and grow. I do wish that we could study more of the life spans of reefs and also it is to note that Shipping in 40 to 50 years grew 1700% that in itself lays a film on the suffice and eventually ends up settling on the reefs and in the sands! Thank you once again for this great video, i have to go shovel snow now! lolol
Wow! Thank you Anne and P.R.T.s for this beautiful video!! I felt imbued with peace and calm just watching. What a stunning place!! Thank you for sharing this slice of heaven on Earth.
@@angelofjustice5081 Most locations away from Old bank and Boca Town are "off grid". You may need to apply for septic permit only. People on the outer islands just do their own thing and many don't get even building permits.
Great video just like all the others which continue to give me hope that I will be down there one day. At 49, my mind was made up along time ago....I am done with Canada. 🙏
Lovely video. There is something quite special about living on the waters. We tried it for some days at El Clandestino on San Cristobal Island. When it was time to move on, we really wanted to stay! Kudos to the coral restoration project, that is awesome :)
Great video I appreciate the content. I'm curious to know what type of wood they use in Panama that is safe in building such a massive structure like a home or a dock submerged in water?
@@OneTwo-fv6nw Sounds like a somebody looking for a business opportunity in Panama should seize the moment and come up with a local means by which to pressurise wood to keep the footprint smaller and likely less costly. As long as it could be done sustainably it might be a good business model as well as also a contribution to the local economy and technology.
How much of a minimal income can a low income person need to live in solarte? Panamá is getting very expensive. Looks like my kind of place. I have pets too.
