I just realized that there is also a Red Bull chewing gum available in Thailand. Actually Red Bull originated in Thailand in the 1970s as a drink called Krating Daeng, designed to boost energy for workers and truck drivers.
I prefer Thai red bull over American one, when I was little and still live in Thailand, everytime I got sick/catch a cold or something, my mom would make me Mama instant noodle (Tom yum flavor) and she gave me red bull and I swear it always made me feel better, Thai red bull is legit 😂 I have to try to find chewing gum when I'm taking a trip to Thailand later this summer/fall
The difference between 7-11 in Japan and Thailand is that in 7-11 in Thailand you will find foreign food here such as Korean food, Japanese food, Italian food. American food, but you can't find it all at 7-11 in Japan. Variety of food like in 7-11 in Thailand. And 7-11 here is cheap.
I and my wife were in Thailand last week for vacation and 7-eleven was a life saver. We are both mild non vegetarians (occasional chicken eaters) so 7-eleven fed us almost our entire vacation. Also the prices are very reasonable and in a lot of cases cheaper. Thanks 7-eleven for feeding us and letting us enjoy our vacation without worry!
Zane, this 24-hour adventure in Bangkok's 7-Eleven is nothing short of epic! Living on 7-Eleven has never looked so tempting. Your journey through the aisles of this unique Thai 7-Eleven had me captivated from the first ham and cheese toasty to the mouthwatering pad kra pao meal. I love how you showcased the diverse range of items, from Red Bull-flavored gum to the tantalizing skewers, and even the intriguing pandan creations. That egg dish, dipped in what seemed like a heavenly soy sauce, left me craving a taste. And who could resist the charm of that vibrant green pandan sandwich? Your culinary exploration had my taste buds on a rollercoaster, from the savory to the sweet. That pad kra pao was a delightful surprise, and the Thai custard bun and pandan cake looked like the perfect desserts to wrap up your 7-Eleven feast. The way you described each dish, its flavors, and your genuine reactions made me feel like I was right there with you, savoring every bite. It's incredible how 7-Eleven in Thailand offers such a rich and diverse array of meals at such affordable prices. Your journey proves that you can have a gourmet experience without breaking the bank. Thanks for taking us on this gastronomic adventure. Your enthusiasm, combined with the vibrant Bangkok backdrop, creates a delightful viewing experience. Can't wait for the next culinary escapade! 🌮🥤🍜 #ZaneTravel #7ElevenFeast #BangkokEats
In Taiwan, every 7-11 has a dining area where you can eat directly inside without going outside! The most convenient 7-11 in the world with the most services is in Taiwan. Did you go to a 7-11 when you were in Taiwan? However, Thailand is indeed very famous for its hot-pressed sandwiches, and the hot-pressed service is something that is not available in Taiwan! That egg is called iron egg, and it was invented in Tamsui, Taiwan. It was accidentally invented by an old lady in Tamsui who stewed the eggs for too long! I haven't seen that vitamin milk tea, but I believe it must be delicious and nutritious! That Japanese drink is indeed Calpis. The name Calpis combines "Cal" and "Pis" "Cal" stands for calcium. "Pis" is derived from the Sanskrit "Salpis", which is used to express the fermentation process and flavor of milk! The origin of "Calpis" actually comes from the traditional drink created by the nomads in the mountains of Inner Mongolia. 7-11 is really awesome, they turn delicacies from all over the world into microwaveable food! However, I still have to remind you that you cannot eat microwaved food at every meal, as it will still cause damage to your body in the long run! Very interesting topic, thank you very much for sharing, you did a super great job! 👍🥰👏
I have been to Thailand many times, and I would never eat prepackaged food there. I am not sure if you are scared of eating the amazing street food in Bangkok or what. The only time I ever went into a 7-11 there was for smokes and a bottle of Sang Som. 😊
The rice concoctions we get in the UK are generally horrible but always found chicken fried rice from 7-11 to be rather good, even though it was frozen and microwaved. The GF cooked up an even better one but when travelling and not wanting to throw money away in restaurants, 7-11 was a good option for a very cheap meal that wasn't going to upset your stomach.
breakfast: egg 13 banana 10 big water 20 ham and cheese sandwich 32 lunch: chicken with rice and basil 49 chicken satay skewers 29 fruit 50 vitamin water 29 dinner: double cheese burger 39 japanese drink 15 cake 25 second cake 13 total: 324thb/$9/€8
I love pandan also. To me pandan taste like a mix of vanilla, almond, and coconut. You should try the mango ice cream with pandan sticky rice at Swensen’s (Central World).
Hi Zane, great contents as always. The Pandan Toasty is quite rare at 7-Eleven sort of (1/5) chances you'd find one. The Mini Cream Bao is quite delicious as well, if you'd get a chance.
I lived in Thailand from the age of 22-32.5 (2008-2018). When I first moved there, I could not speak the language and felt insecure about speaking. I lived off of 7-11 For at least a few weeks before making friends and attempting to speak the language and learn the area(s) better. 7-11 food in Thailand is awesome, wish we had it here in the United States. Instead, we have greasy old pizza and gross items.
Some 7/11s in Thailand have seats to sit at. One of my local ones have seats to sit at. 7/11s are very common. There are 3 7/11s near me if I remember correctly. When I went to Chiang Mai there were like 5 7/11s near my hotel.
I don't know about Thailand but I have had some tasty and relatively inexpensive meals at 7-11 type shops in Taiwan, microwaved for me with a smile by the young clerks employed there.
I lived in Bangkok through covid and often lived on 7 food for days. Lost a bit of weight too. My wife likes the fermented rice pudding in the plastic bag. It's usually low down near the fruit. I hated it personally..
I'm so happy you dared to try the burgers. I always saw them last time i was in BKK, but always just had this western instinct "nah bro, a cold plastic wrapped burger? cant be good" But that legit looks way better than say a McD cheeseburger.
Zane I just want to say I love your videos it’s like being on vacation from home. I can’t stop watching your Japan trip videos and please keep it up 👍🏼 all love
Hey mate, check out the food cafeteria at St Louis Hospital in Sathorn. Its really affordable, clean, AC and authentic home style food. Its a go to lunch spot for many office workers in the area.
Thailand has the second largest 7-Eleven in the world after Japan and the largest 7-Eleven in the world. Including the most modern 7-Eleven in the world in Thailand.
I have a question bro, I’m going on my first solo trip to Thailand for a month but how do you keep yourself busy every day though? I can imagine some days can be still relatively boring. I’ve been in Thailand before and I have a list on what to do but you can’t do so less in so many hours 😂 any tips maybe to visit some certain places?
There is one thing with in 7-11s I can see that confirms it's better than Japan's 7-11. There's always a quiet corner nearby where you can sit and enjoy your meal 😉
Not kidding when he says “you can’t have a 7/11 Thailand video without a ham and cheese toastie” it’s incredible to me that so many people have done “eating at 7/11 Thailand” videos and EVERY SINGLE PERSON buys that ham and cheese sandwich.
Daily, it is so popular and sold out practically all menus. I tried pad kaprao in the video, not sweet/salty at all, as good as hotly prepared on street stall.
I live here for 5 years, and we analyzed 711 meals regularly. The ammount of micro-plastics and chemicals in every dish is insane. Also your favourite cheese toast has more chemicals inside than your window cleaner. No wonder this society destructs themselves.
I believe that there is some truth to it, but how have you actually determined it? Also, there must be some variation in the amount in different products.
bro you should try the pomelo salad. It's called "Yum-Som-O" it blew my mind when I tried it for the first time last trip. Can't wait to go back in a few months
