@@patandfrankie When you buy a boat or are about to buy a boat, take care to ask for the construction plans... On production boats like yours, the keel hull part has a very poor structure. The keel is not an integral part of the structure of the hull but it is taken on a chassis which, due to its design, is too fragile unlike a keel forming an integral part of the hull? It is for production costs that manufacturers adopt this type of assembly. It's the same for example on the Bavaria and many more other brands. These are boats designed for owners who rarely leave the port or go around in circles in front of the port in very good conditions... Of course, they look luxurious and fancy, but if you scratch a little you will realize that their constructions are poor !!! An orca would demolish your rudder in seconds, and you will sink your ship very quickly. I cannot suggest a particular boat, it depends on your needs and your sailing program and your budget... I only advise you to carefully check the construction method and to avoid production boats. The perfect boat doesn't exist, but solid constructions do !
