I stumbled upon your channel whilst searching for North East Indian recipes (food enthusiast here!). I love your cooking and vlogs that portray the beauty and simplicity of living in a remote area, without romanticizing the whole experience (as is often done in many countryside-themed channels on social media platforms). I went to college in Chennai, so it was good to know that you used to work there! I moved to the US 14 years ago, and even though, as a professor, my work is somewhat fulfilling, I sometimes (often times?) wonder if I should move to a remote location to experience nature, live a simpler and sustainable life. Would you mind having a new neighbor? 😂 I see that you're planning a homestay. I'd be keen to make that hike up the mountain and experience the homestay whenever I visit next. Keep up the fantastic work!

I was imagining how hard it'll b after getting shot 💉 of COVID vaccine n trekking all the way behind those mountain as i remember after I get my first dose I had a very high fever and plus I have bike i don't need to Trek all the way to home hats off to u n ur strength

Its not so easy to climb up so high n come down. I could remember going up with my aunts n be the last one to climb n down. My aunts climbing up so fast n while comming down with firewoods so fast. The camera man your strong😊.

Some of the manuscripts were eaten by our ancestors as it was made of animal's skin or bamboo it seems.. And what l heard is that there was famine in the place where they previously lived that is why they migrated...

I think the correct spelling would be 'Kapa' (KAP-A) with single P, not kaPPa. We spell 'gipa' (suffix) not 'gippa' (e.g. song·gipa-changipa not song·giPPa changiPPa) 'tapa' (paste) not 'tappa', etc. If we put two Ps then it should be pronounced similar to 'Appa' (father) (e.g. AP-PA & KAP-PA, which isn't the correct name for the particular dish). Just saying😁. Nice videos though.

Purchase a horse and you don't need to walk
