With the New Year, I'm bringing you a new project reveal! If you followed along, then you remember the first episode about Vymian & RJ's living room and dining area. There was a disheartening 'contractor disaster' while installing their canned lighting that meant the completion of this project was put on hold until that could be resolved. Now we get to see the install of this project and the final-look as I reveal it to the clients. It's mid-century, warm, inviting, and CLASSY!

I almost cried when I saw what accidentally happened to their lovely home during the electrical installation. Your clients were such good sports and are now rewarded with another outstanding decorating job by Rebecca Robeson. Such talent! I live in a much more old fashioned home, but I can appreciate good design no matter what the style. Bravo, Rebecca! You're amazing. Thanks for sharing once again.

I LOVE that RR shows the reality of being an interior designer. You don't just show up and 'ta da' - you showed the work! You pack and lift and unbox and shop back rooms and go with out sleep and worry about choices and re-dos. Do things fit? Ah oh, change the rug? Thank you for showing what it's really like to be a FABULOUS designer. So much talent in a tiny body :)

Rebecca, it goes without saying that you have great taste but what happens to the homeowners own accessories that have meaning to them and that they may have collected and curated over time? Do you ever incorporate it into the new design? When I have redone rooms I've bought new items, of course, but also repurposed and relocated decor items from room to room. Beautiful home. Very nice scale of funiture. And, I love the kitchen with the wood & the brown tiles. So many of the homes these days are white, white, white. So it's refreshing to see a home with beautiful wood tones with cream. Lovely couple too. ♥

Rebecca, Vymian & RJ are so blessed to be able to have you come into their home and create such beauty. My heart sank for them when their home disaster happened, but knew God would make something good from this accident. 🙏 I have to tell you I held my breath as you were choosing which rugs you would be using and I LOVE your choices as well as how you switched the wall art! 🥰 I always cut the tags on my drapes/curtains...such a small thing with a big impact. The home turned out lovely! I can relate to all the feels; we returned home from vacation on 1/1/23 to a home that flooded due to a perfect storm of an ice storm, power outage, and unusual sub-freezing temps causing our fire sprinkler pipes to burst and our domestic water (on a well) to pump 300 gal/hr into the house for a week before we returned. Our 3200 sq ft rambler was fully flooded and most of our furniture and walls had already started to mold. Fast forward to over 12 months later and we are still not back in our house - hopefully another 6 weeks… I’ve been bingeing a lot of design and renovation videos since I’ve had to choose all new floors, paint colors, cabinets, and other finishes for the entire house on my own - it’s a lot and it’s overwhelming at times. Thank goodness I had just retired a month before this all happened LOL! And thank goodness for RU-vid and content like Rebecca’s that give me great inspiration and ideas!

Gorgeous. I was initially so disappointed you didn't choose the flower rug and then, so elated to see it down. I wish we could buy some of these things, like the candles on the TV console. Such a beautiful couple. One of my favorites.

Bravo beautiful results! 👏🎉 I love how Rebecca put the candles on the side of the t.v. & it didnt block the view of the t.v at all. I've seen people put things in front of the tv & it would bother me to look at stuff in front of the t.v. instead of viewing the actual t.v. screen. I love how you showed us, what you may originally choose to place here, may in the end be a better fit other there instead. Calming and elegant space! Would love to see it with a fire in the fireplace and candles all lit 😍 The reflections off the glass table would feel like a luxury spa space. The way the light fixture and kitchen hardware instantly updated that space- what a difference even small details can make to the overall look! Also, I am blown away at such a grace filled couple- I just instantly love them. They seem to radiate joy. Glad their home turned out to be such a show stopper!

Hello REbecca, I've been following you for years because I saw a video about bow ties. and I really like the low-budget deco videos. I live in Europe where Ikea has a strong presence. I must admit that I'd like to see the result that you imagine for a bedroom or living room with an "ikea" budget and above all that when you arrive in the room you don't think oh this comes from ikea.

What a beautiful space you’ve created for these lovely people. Wish I’d had you a couple of years ago when I had a slab leak here in Texas. Tunnels under the house through my family room floor, every floor had to be replaced. So many problems occurred, in a hotel for 3 months, putting it all back together was daunting, and I’m still not pleased with most of it. Bless you!
