I was exactly like you as a young girl. I was always changing my room, painting and making over furniture. You do what you love. You live there, not the viewers. The artwork looks great! 2 large pieces look better vs the 3 you had. It's simple but you have texture so that makes a difference. And who doesn't love their own one of a kind art piece on a budget? I love an eclectic design. The colors, shapes and textures work together. It looks clean, ordered and comfortable.

I'm more on the minimalist style, and I have always love how you decorate your apartment (back then) and your house (now). Even with your "more is more" you know how to play with the colors, textures and styles and make it make sense and look coherent, also it feels warm with a modern twist. I just love it⚱🌵🍶🍂🗿

Before watching this, I would’ve said Boho is not my style however your house is so calming and watching this I was overcome by a sense of peacefulness. I now find myself looking at my decor to see how I can incorporate things as you did yours. I absolutely ❤️ the artwork. I now find my binge watching all your videos.

It's wonderful now, and was wonderful before. One thing I would change is going with less pillows on the couch. A good rule is being able to sit down without having to move many pillows. Some even say if you have to move even one pillow, don't put it back. Let's see more of your couch. That will bring the whole look up a notch. Less pillows and a really fantastic throw! I love the carpet. It's unusual and uniquely you. I love the art. It's not dull or plain. I love the large plants, and all the large pieces. Maybe stick with the rule of 3 for the shelves. It will add to the decluttering. One other change I'd like to see is a larger table behind the couch leading into the kitchen. . The scale of this table doesn't quite work. I've always liked the top of the table to reach the top of the couch, without being higher. The back couch pillows however, can be higher. Everything looks so cohesive on this floor. What else can you ask for? Will your huband think he is in the wrong house??

The wall art in the dining room looks perfect to me. You have great style.

Katia! Everything you do is wonderful! I so enjoy watching your process & really dig your aesthetic! Change is never a bad thing I have found - though it is definitely scary sometimes to come from where we are comfortable. I was thinking that perhaps painting the wall the shelves are on ( a pain it would be I'm sure to take the shelves down) but I was imagining a wonderful earth tone - ya know like a brown, green, tan - somewhere in there & you could decide how saturated you want it to be. I think even a few levels warmer than the white even still in the white family would really ground the space! Just a thought! I hope you are enjoying your newly refreshed space in good health! ❣
