Italy 🇮🇹 is the most beautiful culture in the world.they are about homes not realestate. There food is for e everyone not just the rich . They know the art of living and giving and loving . Italy you are special to the world

This reminds me of the simple life I lived in my village till my twenties. It was beautiful, stress-free, peaceful, healthy and wholesome enviornment. The people at that time were kind, loving and had commonsense. I miss those days.

I had dreams of visiting Italy for many years. It wasn't until I became a widow that I made my dream come true in 2019, My goodness, right before coronavirus. It was my husband's desire for me to go. It's too bad that he and I couldn't do this trip together.

I have been in one of these houses during my vacation in Italy where the owner literally gave me keys of that place obviously for a charge. But that town on the hills was absolutely majestic. It took a small bus ride but then the town was full of tiny zig zag lanes going up and down small shops selling groceries & wine and hardly any tourist I don’t even know how I ended up there it was through some app. But I loved it. The owner was sweet just like the other people in the town. Lake como was a few kms down that hill. I literally stayed in the town just for the peace it offered from the hustle and bustle of Milan. Will love to visit it again soon.

Come to India you'll find people living much simpler lives : in the countryside. There are still houses made of mud and straw here with a solitary light bulb and maybe a fan in the ceiling. Cooking is done in "earthen ovens" (dug in the ground), and people(farmers) spend their day working in the agricultural fields , in the hot sun and maybe take rest under the shades of huge trees. This is called being at one with nature.

@@lucas5885 sure, some can, you might be one of them. But billions of people have no opportunities. To characterize a villa in Tuscany as "simple life" when it is opulence is frankly insulting to those who live a simple life... Also when it comes to our expectations for the future, sure they might momentarily be great but ultimately all will lose their strength and die.

@@danielwernegren8749 Hey Daniel, sorry you felt this way! It was never meant to be an insulting video. I just wanted to share the good times I had with family and friends. I think the word "simple" may have got lost in translation. "Simple" for me meant disconnecting from the life I usually live. This farm house has no TV, no internet, no air conditioning and a wood fired stove for heating. I could leave my phone turned off the entire time I was there as there was no need for it. In my eyes this was a simplified, less complicated but also more meaningful way of living. I have many Italian friends who have told me the struggles that some Italians have, particularly in terms of unemployment and so I would never want to insult their culture.

Of course there are milions suffering, but let me tell you something: neither I or you can do anything about it. I live in Tuscany and I also know many non rich people who live like that: country, dogs, biking, spritz, these things are not necessarily expensive. Most people don't live like that, that's for sure, but if your dad, grandad and grand-grandad lived in the same tuscanian town for years, chances are you inherited a home like that.

The hardest part of moving to Italy is deciding where to live in a country that has so many flavors, so many tastes, so many warm generous people. I'm on Ischia and while I find so many places in Italy tempting I also find it hard to leave the sea, the Biancolella and the people.
