The point about steering is soo accurate and ppl can’t understand it until they experience it, other brands don’t inspire confidence, Ford, Skoda, VW, these legends have the best steering
@@Wander98765 Always do timely service, don't ignore suggestions from the mechanic to replace a part due to wear & tear. Today you may save money by ignoring a part replacement but tomorrow it'll cost you much more if something else goes wrong. Also, to specifically save money you can opt for the service packages, they will help save atleast 4-5k on each service. Get the extended warranty for sure, keep your peace of mind for 6 years!
We are planning to purchase an in family SKODA RAPID STYLE 2019 PETROL DSG SILVER! The interior and technical features are as good as new! Only the exterior has quite a few dents and scratches! Ofc if we purchase the car, we are planning to do a few exterior style mods! What do you think will be a good asking price for the car?
So it sounds exactly like my car - Rapid Style 2019 DSG silver with minor dents and scratches, but mine is diesel. When it was 3 years old I paid 8.7 for it. For the petrol variant (now being almost 5 years old) anywhere around 6-6.25 lakhs would be a good price for it, don’t go beyond it unless the car is in immaculate condition.

Thank you brother! 😄 Till now I haven't faced any ground clearance issues, once on a big speed bump the back of the car touched the ground, but that happened because there were 5 people with lots of luggage in the car, so it was already sitting quite low. For a 4-5 year old diesel style Rapid, I would expect anywhere in the range of 6-8 lakhs depending on how many KMs the car has run and it's overall condition.

If you are passionate about driving, koi regret nahi hoga😀 Today even till 20 lakh price range I don't find any car which is as fun to drive as the Rapid, and with the added convenience (and quickness) of the DSG, it is a hoot to drive! 7.5 is a good price, make sure to get extended warranty either from Skoda or the dealer, that will give you peace of mind.

It seems to be a little expensive. Also, 19,644km does not sound genuine for a nearly 6 year old car, do get it verified at an authorised skoda center, they will let you know if the odometer has been tampered with, don't believe the seller. If it has genuinely only run 19k kms, then question is has it been so problematic that the owner wasn't able to use it frequently, so this question can be answered by the service records. If all of this is good, then get a deal below 7 lakhs. My Rapid (style DSG 2019 Diesel) was 3 years old when I bought it and I paid 8.7 lakhs, so even comparatively 7.5 lakhs is expensive for a 6 year old Rapid style
Price is a little high for a 6 year old Rapid, but it also depends on the condition of the car and the Variant. If it is top end variant (style) in good condition then this is a good price.
Rapid TSI is a great car! Go for it but make sure to get it checked at an authorized service center before finalising the decision. Parts replacement is a costly affair but if you take care of the car it will take care of you!😀

Skoda rapid 1.0 TSI AT monte carlo model, NoV 2020, 11k km run, all services done at Skoda service centre, asking for 10 lakhs, 1st owner. Does it worth it or right ask price ?? Ground clearance is shown 116 mm, can you inform any issue faced due to low ground clearance in bad roads ??
Hey Parth, 10 lakhs is on the higher side for a 3.5 year old Rapid monte carlo. The 1.0 TSI is a great motor and at 11k km could be a good car. I would suggest you to get it evaluated at an authorised Skoda service center, to make sure that no parts need replacement. Never blindly trust the seller! 😀 I own the 1.5 TDI, a close friend of mine has the 1.0 TSI Onyx, both of us have never had any issue with the ground clearance.
It's on sale on spinny, I have inspected it and found it in mint condition. Also got the all service history from skoda and the car is not having any major issues. I am thinking whether 10 lakh rupees is worth or not .

@@PradeepGorli bhai I am very sure that 20k is false information. It’s a 7 year old car, highly likely that the odometer has been tampered with. Get it checked at Skoda SC. A good price would be around 6 Lakhs. 😁
Someone I know is selling a used skoda rapid elegance+ mt 2015. The condition is very good with all service records. I'm thinking of buying it. What would be a good price for it?
Elegance 2015 would be your 1.6 Petrol. Considering its almost 9 years old now + discontinued engine, a good price should be around 2.5 lakhs, a little up or down depending on the actual overall condition of the car and it's odometer reading, but anything over 3 lakhs should be considered only if the car has only run like 50-60k kms.
@@TractionControl Thank you for responding. Odo reading is less than 50k and it's well maintained and serviced from ASC as the owner had Skoda 8 year service package. Both front tyres were replaced recently and this person is asking for 4.25. He says he will rather drive it himself than negotiate because he likes driving the car.
@@ROHAN4953 in my honest opinion 4.25 is little too much for that old a car. Even if maintained spectacularly, any machine will age with time and will burn your pockets soon. Due to high cost of spare parts and average demand, Skoda/VW cars don't usually demand a premium in the used car market. If your heart is really set on the car, I would suggest to get the car evaluated at a nearby Skoda SC and not to trust everything the seller says, there are a lot of cars these days with tampered odo.
Sorry for replying late bro. Recommended to get it replaced if car is under Warranty or EW, otherwise fight to get it repaired. You can tell them that you'll write an official complaint to the Head office.
