Self-Realization Fellowship nun Sister Namita shares wisdom from Paramahansa Yogananda on the skills and attitudes we can cultivate in order to deal with challenges we face, improve our relationships with others, and infuse our lives with joy and positivity. “Think of your mind as a garden,” Paramahansa Yogananda said, “and keep it beautiful and fragrant with divine thoughts.”
This talk was given as the closing class at the 2010 SRF World Convocation in Los Angeles. As those attending the weeklong Convocation prepared to head back to their daily lives, Sister Namita conveys that it is possible not only to hold on to but also to increase the joy they feel - and go forth, in Paramahansaji’s words, “with the courage of a hero and the smile of a conqueror.”
