In this talk with a period of meditation, Self-Realization Fellowship monk Brother Kamalananda shares guidance from Paramahansa Yogananda on the right attitude towards prayer - and the right methods to make our prayer and communion with the Divine truly effective and rewarding.
In the ultimate sense, we are souls - perfect and unique images of the Divine - and we don’t need to ask for anything. But until we realize our full divinity we should pray, Paramahansaji said, not as beggars or under some false impression of being “sinners,” but by making heartfelt demands of God as His own beloved sons and daughters.
