I was invited to be a guest speaker at an Autism awareness seminar, so I shared some stories about my struggles with the condition as a child & how the services & support I recieved have enabled me to live as a functioning adult.
People with autism and have love and passion with paleontology and natural history, like me, are exceptional human beings and they deserve respect, love, and compassion just like everyone else. And everyday, I still get very excited about something new about paleontology and paleoart.
I have autism as well, not sure where on the spectrum but I know I’m high functioning. Its awesome to meet a fellow prehistoric creature fan on the spectrum
Hello my name is Kaden Slinker, and I am autistic (specifically high functioning autism), and I am also a fan of paleontology, and other subjects. I am also happy to know I not the only one like this.
I have thought I was on the spectrum for a long time and a friend of mine with Asperger's also thinks I am but my family don't, it seems a very difficult condition to be diagnosed with, If I went to my doctor and asked him to refer me for testing they would just label me a hypochondriac. We actually share a lot of the same interests, obsessive subjects from childhood, and sensory overloads.
@Woodchipper Worshipper I know 3 autistic people and each is different but there is something unusual/not typical about their behaviour which is obvious to people. I always felt there was something about Chris Packham that I couldnt put my finger on. When he revealed he was on the spectrum suddenly his behaviour made total sense to me.
I can relate with this video alot since I have a sister how has it,but really I just like how excellent this video was about to show this how I like to call right now, *phenomenon* but also I wish yall can agree a good weekend & AAM Also love yourself & love the people that love you back & care for you

I love eating fish, it was one of the things my dad was great at cooking growing up, and I fell in love with sushi thanks to the taste, so yeah I love fish
