So many of you know that I have been struggling wit back pain for years. Around 8 years ago I suffered a slip disc that has plagued me for years. Yep, it was awful especial as we were about to undertake the biggest renovation project we had ever done. Long story short guys in this video I will share my journey of living with back pain.

A very emotional time indeed. I recorded this a few weeks ago when I was so much better than I am now. How things can change I'm now currently dealing with horrible pain as I deal with a second bad flare up this year. Talking about my journey has been therapy and praying I will get over this. Believing this too shall pass.

Listening to you Sapphire is like therapy. Your story resonates so much with me. I was a fitness freak, walk , run, raise money for charity, had a walking group. To now being barely able to use my legs because of severe osteoarthritis in both hips. I try to avoid medication, like you say because of the adverse effects. However I manage my diet, I do a lot of juicing and try incorporate a mostly raw diet. As I write today I’m in a lot of pain, and has been for the last couple of days. I completely agree with your husband, gardening and being out in nature is definitely therapeutic. That’s medication for my mental health. Sending well wishes Sapphire, we will get there 🙏

Hi Mr Black, thank you so much for your encouragement ❤️ really means alot. Poor mental health is real, and it wasn't until I really acknowledged that something was wrong, took steps and started receiving help that I realised the importance and need to work on my mental health. Our physical health is so important and living with pain daily I truly know, but it's so easy to ignore the mental as that may suggest we are 'mad'. It's a life long journey for me and I'm only just starting, if I can help one person that's a blessing.

Thank you DS! Didn't think in a million years I would do something like this. But on a journey to wellness and despite setbacks, which I'm even experiencing right this very moment, I'm gonna keep pushing and at times when I can't even walk I know who is carrying me. God bless
