The actress playing his “maid” made me very uncomfortable, for her. This stupid act he put on would never wash in the US, but us simple-minded Brits found his exaggerated claims to fame and bad dad-jokes funny. He was a producer, he hired PR reps, got onto I’m A Celebrity and the media decided for us that he was a national hero. He sickens me quite frankly. The things he said about Liza during their divorce in US courts made him a very hated figure in the states, but of course, that side of him isn’t the side he wished to show the British public. A sad man, having a late mid-life crisis and we all had to suffer it.
You can tell the “maid” is actually a professional singer who he’s convinced that this will raise her profile and boost her career. He did the same to Liza but obviously now no successful singer would fall for his con today. This one’s talented but without the right aesthetics and he’s exploiting that desparation.
