I can’t tell you how happy I am to have found your channel. I adore Liza and had the great pleasure of seeing her live in London on her ‘Liza with a Z’ tour in 1973. You have a lot of unseen footage for me to browse.
I love Liza LOrna and Judy ! THank you so very much for the awesome interview ! That man who almost whecked not seeing her sister I do not like him and she found out what kind of man he was ! Now LOrna is back in her life now !
My goodness Liza looks so uncomfortable at times during this. She definitely didn’t want to go into detail about her relapse and seemed mortified at how D*vid was flaunting the excesses of their wedding. Also, the way he just seems to hover over her at all times is quite troubling. I’m so glad she got away from that creep.
yeah he seems to think she has absolutely no boundaries personal space or otherwise. You always see Liza holding someone's hand and touching people in interviews - she's a toucher, but there's a difference between feeling comfortable enough physically with people that you can publicly demonstrate affection for them, and having your space invaded with them mouthbreathing down your ear hole regardless of if you're engaged or not.

For someone like Liza who usually uses physical touch and laughter to disarm and create a sense of loving familiarity, it’s jarring to see her be so clammed up and repressed with her HUSBAND. Thank god she escaped this gremlin. Idk maybe it’s just me, but telling someone that they’re fat and that they aren’t themself with some extra weight isn’t exactly what I would consider putting someone back on their feet.
@@stardusth2o gremlin is an excellent word. In fact the PERFECT word to describe that creature. It breaks my heart when you see her on some interviews and she's so shut down like on Larry King. I just wanted to grab her and be like 'I have cake, tea, and a pillow for you to scream into. Do what you gotta do love'. If you watch Graham Norton you can see her starting to realise 'actually... now hang on a minute' and getting her spunk back and having some very uncharacteristically snippy comments directed at David which was a relief - not pleasant seeing her having to resort to being snippy because I get the impression that's not natural for her either, but damn it's better than big sad eyes and shoulders up to her ears. I mean getting someone healthy is one thing but getting someone thin is an entirely different thing. Thank god she wasn't saddled with that creep for long but it does make me sad she never got those kids she wanted so badly.
@@tashlentine it just shows how incredibly vulnerable she must have been at the time to have let a cartoon villain like him into her life. He saw she was at rock bottom and leapt at the chance to attach himself to a legend like a parasite with his Picasso face lookin ass
As a long-life Liza fan, I can confidently say she’s never shared any political opinion or divulged who she votes for. She’s performed for Clintons and she then went to the White House to perform for Bush, along with so many other presidents. She’s always seemed publicly very neutral. Your comment is absurd.
