I have skin problems...more specifically, hormonal acne. Took me like five years to stop editing out my acne in pictures. It's not easy, but eh, it's my body.
Danigurl _ I've also been struggling with hormonal acne for like a year and my skin is finally healing. Acne doesn't make you any less beautiful, the moon has acne scars but that doesn't make her less pretty.✨
My "friend" said I needed to get my photo (tomorrows photo day) to get it edited out cause you can for like $3, witch hurt. Ik he was joking but, still. Sooo yea I accept my face but, like my family feels bad for me, but like its not a problem. I just want them to leave me alone ;-; So I can relate.
I was told by my dermatologist that I had “genetic” acne and basically that meant that I would have gotten it regardless of how well or badly I “washed my face” ugh. She put me on a pill called Trevisage (you have to sign a waiver that you’re okay taking it, it’s that crazy intense) and I took it for about 6-8 months and it cleared up. I have a few scars she gave me medicine for but I didn’t use much of it, I don’t really mind them. And just regular unscented soap and a night cream for maintaining it. 🤷♀️ But it’s just so different from person to person it SUCKS.
I have terrible acne!!!! Not from puberty doctor proven it all over my back chest and face and so now I have a prescribed cream and medication and it is slowly getting better
I have acne on almost every part of my body and I hate it because I wash well yet I feel like I'm doing something wrong. Hopefully more skincare on my face and maybe some meds will help
Mine comes in like all the time and it takes all my energy not to scratch it sometimes- Also someone was watching me scratch my hand and they said it was like I was ripping off my skin
As a person who has dealt with eczema since i was around 6 or 7 years old I can confirm that having it really sucks and the worst is pain when it just starts bleeding because you scrached it a little bit.
I have eczema and so at school I'm always referred to as 'grandma hands.' It's so aggravating. Sometimes it gets so bad that in summer at school I wear jeans or pants just so that people won't stare or make fun of me.
Dusty Rat Relatable... my mother keeps telling me my eczema makes me look ugly (she’s a major perfectionist and she thinks she’s helping... she isn’t) because she wants me to go on a diet without gluten in order to make the eczema go away. (Sorry, I love food, not happening). I have it all over my hands, my arms (which tan everywhere but where I have eczema, so my skin right now is really tan with white or red spots all over, so gotta love that), and lately even my face has developed dry, red patches. Heck, I don’t care anymore. I had low self-esteem all of my eighth grade year and it destroyed me. I’m tired of it, so now I’m deciding to medicate my skin with lotions and do other stuff to try to care for it, but really just, in essence, deciding accept myself for who I am when that doesn’t work. I don’t have time to freak out over my appearance in high school, I’m just gonna enjoy life and ignore anyone who tells me I need to change. Looks don’t really matter, anyway. The people behind them do.
Sophia Redwood ah same.. I have eczema on my hands and arms and legs , neck , and a bit on my stomach and face and I hide all of it I suffer so much and I never showed anyone my skin and I have the courage to take off my sweater at school but there are so much people that are gonna make fun of me and call me ugly and I don’t know if I’ll be able to ever show my skin
Eczema was something I also had when I was young. Up until the age of like 12 it was so bad I started bleeding. And I would always refer to my Cetaphil cream as my “special soap”.
A weird skin tip- when you wash your face, put your cleanser on your face without any water, lather it for a minute, then wet your hands and wash for another minute.
Ronelle Garcia This is a personal anecdote, but i feel like applying cleanser with water dilutes it and makes it easy to wash off without having properly cleansed the makeup/dirt off your face. I found that applying cleanser by itself i washed makeup off a lot more thoroughly than before!!
Its a gift to have clear skin .i have exsema and im idk and idc about it AND IM SUFFERING. OF SCRATCHING AND GETING JUGED.!!!!!!!😠😠😠😡😡😡😢😢😢😥😥😥😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I have so many skin problems, and Hyrums skin care channel is so great. He’s like a consultant or something and he talks about different methods to try for different types of skin. It’s helped my skin routine a lot :)
I remembered putting on makeup to hide my acne and it's worked better than I thought. The only downfall is that when I went to school with it, my friends noticed and started to tease me for a while. After 2 days, they understand and stopped teasing me
Whenever I'm like top naked and my hair is gliding on my upper back......I look upward and shake my head the feeling is smooth and absolutely amazing to feel
I've struggled with Eczema my whole life, it's hard bro. Like, it has gotten so bad that I wasn't able to sleep and had to take some meds till it healed back up. My parents tried to help me put lotion on all the time, and we've tried so many. And like Young Yong, I would feel self-conscious about my hands. When I'm up at college, I like to go country swing dancing because it's fun, but I was always worried girls would see my hands and or feel it and not want to dance anymore. (Never happened, or if they did they never left. I hope my dance moves made up for it :) ). So yeah, it's a struggle. I remember asking my Mom when I was little, "Why did God let me have this?" I don't remember what her response was, but she supported me and continues to help and remind me to put on some lotion, and carries some in her purse when we are on trips. My biggest tip is to see a dermatologist, they can look at your eczema and see what creams or medications you need (they were the ones that told me it was okay to take a pill b/c I wasn't able to sleep with eczema), and can give you some good guidelines to keep it in check. Just don't give up on your eczema or yourself. You're worth the effort to have healthy skin. Thank you Mr.Tofu, ex-ninja man, for sharing your experiences. We still need to play Starcraft 2 one day because your friends never want to play it with you.
there was a year or two of my life where i did have severely bad acne. having a mother who believed in “perfection” didn’t help either. my body was changing, growing up so this was quite literally normal. she took me to see a doctor and got prescriptions. i appreciated her trying but not all the scars she left me for popping my condition back then
Basically, it helped them. They put tissues soaked in honey on their face and that helped with their skin and then they drink a cup of green tea. Or one or the other.
I have acne basically everywhere... my back, my face, my ears, my nose, my chest, my butt, and.... down there... my neck, my arms and idk where else...
do regular scrubs to get rid of scars (not everyday. once a week. mayyybe twice but that might be too much) with homemade scrubs or bought and moisture regularly. (the most important part) add vitamin E to your moisturizer or a bit castor oil or both they will eventually fade cause your skin renews it's regularly but it's take a looong time. this will speed it up
I have dumb sensitive skin so I need a specific organic soap from the pharmacy to even wash my face. If I was it with any other kind of soap it gets irritated itches like a bitch.
I have a condition called "pepperoni body". it's acne, but EVERYWHERE Edit: MY ACNE IS GETTING BETTER GUYS I HAVE BEEN BLESSED Edit 2: I'VE ALSO NOTICED LESS DANDRUFF SOMEONE'S LOOKING OUT FOR ME Edit 3: NEVER. FRICKIN. MIND. THE ACNE IS BACK
Ella X I had oily skin so bad because I was washing my face too much. I was cleaning until my skin was tight and shiny. My skin would freak out and try to become hydrated again by making more oil. Oil is your friend, but not when it gets dirty. Wash with a product that doesn’t dry out your skin, and use a moisturiser to lock in the hydration. Good luck!
I have all sorts of pimples but trust me ... black heads are the least to worry about in my book Imagine having big red inflamed nodular pimples all over your cheeks 🍅💀 That's something you can't even cover with makeup , it destroyed my self esteem as a teenager I had no friends I wouldn't go out at all... I wouldn't want to even face my family and I took medicine that caused me hair thinning and other side effects
Me in 3rd grade: I have perfect skin so I don’t understand why people complain so much about skin problems Acne and puberty: I’m about to end this mans whole career
Hi, goat milk soap is very helpful, I remember I had a eczema break out in primary school and my mum got goat milk soap. It really helped and eczema is a skin condition it is triggered in season changes and Local water source changes too.
I have eczena but on my arms so when I sctratch them the bleed so some time during time or when my ac is broken my blanket looks like it just came back from a war
For me I use Moisterizer that doesn’t have any fat in it (works for me because I have very dry skin but also it loves to put a layer of fat on it through out the day) against my acne and especially when I have cleaned my skin with soap or anything pore cleaning cream/mask/liquid I have used. But what I have learned is that one needs to get to know what conditions your skin has. Hope this tips helps for someone. Also alovera is fantastic for most peoples skins when it is dry, inflammated, burn wounds, irritated, wounded.
I have aaalllllll 3! My eczema causes scabs on my legs from scratching and I really sucks. And dandruff sucks cause everyone thinks you have lice ;-; and acne... uuugggghh
I have Eczema and I got it in the creases of my arms and I will scratch them so much the skin will fall off and I will start bleeding I hate it so much
Does anyone else have constant dandruff like I’ll do literally anything and they’ll still be a mountain of it on my head it got to the point where ppl would think I have lice
Honestly, I had cystic acne for a long time. I tried every kind of face regimen with no luck. Just do accutane. Saved my life, haven't has cystic acne since.
Me: turns around, “oh, another person with dandruff?” -skin flakes fly everywhere Also I get acne inside my ears, popped it once and pus and blood got everywhere. Nasty.
One time I had an ear infection and I woke up with blood on the pillow and my mom was like “Eh it’s just acne, we don’t need to go to a doctor”. Thanks previous skin problems
Wow. That's really bad. Thank gods I only have a handful of pimples splattered around my face and back. Good luck, may whatever you believe in bless you and anyone with skin problems with ease on those skin problems.
Hey Young Yong, two things I wanna talk about. 1. I am a Korean American so when there was Korean, I could understand it and when your friend talked it was so funny. 2. I also have a skin problems on my foot and I suggest putting Vaseline on it.
Girls in the bathroom: Oh mY GaWD, I have a pimple on my face. I have such bad skin Me:*comes out of the stall awkwardly Girls in the bathroom:*looks at my skin. *shuts up*
As a person living with eczema, summer is like hell. Sometimes the itch gets so bad, when I wake up there are tiny pools of blood caused from the urge to scratch in my sleep. I appreciate you making this video. Hope you've gotten better / get better.
I have had heat rashes for now flipping 6 months, like seriously bruh 🙁 (Now they have been clumped up into huge group of dots spreading all over my hand)
I have psoriasis ( when I scratch my skin: it gets red, looks like I got burned, and starts getting itchy EVERYWHERE. But when you finally stop scratching, it goes away in five minutes) and all the other stuff so I understand the struggle
I too suffer from eczema on my hands. I found that if you slather them in cortizone eczema creme and then cover them with cotton gloves overnight(available cheap at any pharmacy counter) it works wonders in just a couple days.
BROOO I GOT ECZEMA!!! It sucks BUTT. I got a a staff infection once it was awful. I hate it. Oh and god forbid that’s not enough you get acne at the same time it’s not fun. I feel you. Face eczema is the worst because everyone is like “you need chapstick” 1.duh 2. ON MY WHOLE FACE ( for eczema you can always soak it in black, herbal tea and cover that up with Vaseline)
My friend from my architecture course had eczema on his hands and once they started bleeding while we were doing a paper 3d model...his blood got on the model and our teacher made us redo the whole thing
Me same bro, I have acne and sleep with my hands on my face, I always touch my face , so I wash my hands a lot and i dont use no hand cream. I dont like hand cream so you know !!! I have man hands, veins and everything!!!
I’m a chef, so I’m constantly washing my hands, wiping down benches and washing dishes! My hands are super dry and sore right now and I keep having a reaction to one of the zillion foods/chemicals I’m handling! And my usual hand cream is making it worse 😭 I feel you.
My childhood eczema spread to my neck during high school and these irritated rashes looked like hickeys at times and I was already suffering from the dying need to scratch my neck off plus the amount of hickey accusations.
@@thepiemaster0933 omg me too I have a really big hate towards spiders and at night idky but i think about them the most and my skin feels like its crawling all ovef me
I'm allergic to mosquito bites, so I might not be the best to go off of for the average person, but I can say they suck, especially if mosquitoes seem to have an infatuation with you.
Coming from a person with Raynaud I can definitely relate to this video I hate it when people say stuff to me like “omg yours skin looks really blue!” or “what wrong with your face it’s looks awful!” Like I know they don’t mean to hurt my feelings, but they just can’t understand or take a second to think about it like ofc I’m insecure about it not forgetting I have a sort of Eczema in my hands it’s not diagonosed like me haven’t had a doctor say I had it but my cousin has it and my mums talked to my aunt about it before I they think I do tho it only happens in autumn/winter months I’m not sure if that’s normal since I’ve never really looked into it but yeah life’s fun 🙃
Fun fact: I have this rare skin disorder (1 in 1 million!) called ILVEN. It’s basically just overgrown skin that itches. It’s worse for other people then me but I just wanted to teach you something haha
Everyone talks about acne and how it’s “the worst type of skin problems” but no one talks about eczema and how you can’t even hide it in makeup because of the texture and how DRY it is and how painful it is and if you scratch it, you bleed.
you know that there´s a skin problem called XP that literally can give you skin and brain cancer by just getting hit by sunlight for some seconds? THAT is the worst skin problem.
@@Noor-ce3ny yup, people with eczema should be recognized. i read stories about the horrible things people say and as if they don't suffer enough already (esp the ones with full body eczema).
kids used to not wanna go near me cus i have eczema luckily i only have it during the winter or when i have an allergic reaction now but my hands are scarred
I learned from my ex you don't need to use soap to wash your body unless it's dirty. I shower daily, but only use soap on my bits and pits. The rest of my body gets soaped about once a week when I do a full body exfoliation. I've always gotten compliments over how soft my skin is so whatever I am doing works for me.
Same i got lots of burns when i was little so then the eczema spread over it so now its just this really black, scaly, and hardened skin on my middle fingers, pinky, on my wrists, and on the middle of my thumbs😓😭
@@clarkecutwright9532 I gotta wash my hair every other day and I only fully condition my hair about once a week. Most of the time, I just condition the ends of my hair.
that doesn't work with oily skin and hair you have to use shampoo everyday or the next day it gets more oily and conditioner right after the shampoo to make it soft and stuff
@@selcouthwisp5932 I just got out of High School about a year ago, so yeah i can imagine it. From what i heard though, american high school boys are Basically acting like my country's middle school boys, so i guess it may be different. If they say or do anything kick em in the balls and stand up for yourselves, teach them a lesson, get more girls into defending themselves and others. Sexual harassment is not justified by saying "boys will be boys." or "Aw cmon, they can't help themselves. They're hormonal". Sue them if necessary. Just don't let them get into your mind, thinking you need to act lady like and as if you're responsible for preventing them from being sexual predators.
@@PogoLogo352 I mean it goes both ways, but boys can't kick girls,if You ever gave birth scientist have a way to measure pain and a hard kick to the groin hurts more than giving birth.
I use this small vacuum thing that pulls out black heads and makes ur skin clear and smooth. It also helps with acne, I bought it for like 20$ on amazon and it helps with my skin a lot.
here's a remedy I use. the diced garlic jars. Get a cold spoon, take a small scoop and put them on pimples and such. Leave on overnight and wash well the next morning. Should be gone that next morning or within 2 days (depending on how bad it is)
