Living with the Land Full Ride POV, Epcot, Walt Disney World Resort 

I love this ride. It's so awesome how Disney makes education fun! I hope some of these attractions (especially this one) stays around. The smell of the water in there is my childhood!

I had the opportunity to take my 81 year old mother on this ride in 2009. She grew up on my grandfather's farm in the 1920's and 1930's, still had animals pulling the plow, very low technology. To see her amazement at the changes that technology has brought to farming was amazing. It was like seeing the wonder on a child's face when they see something new. An experience I still treasure. this is probably my favorite ride at epcot! i have so many good memories from when i was a kid of going on several times in a day to see if anything changed. it's so relaxing and the crops are awesome to see

When I was a child, my parents loved me enough to teach me to respect other people by remaining quiet when appropriate.

After working at a botanical garden that also has a food section. I’ve grown to love, respect, and appreciate this ride more and more each time I go! I hope it’s still there when I go to Disney World again soon

This is such an educational ride I hope it never gets "Hollywood-ized" as other attractions at EPCOT like Universe of Energy & The Living Seas

i rode this ride for two reasons i enjoy the theme of the ride and this was my dad's favorite ride .he passed in 2009

It's hard for me to pick my favorite part of the ride. I believe that the artificial rainstorm that really looks as if it's hapening in UNFORGETTABLE.

For the last 5 years, I have been obsessed with finding an audio track of the acoustic guitar tune that plays at the 5:30 mark. It's so pretty, and soothing.

I really love this ride. One of my favorite attractions at EPCOT.

I LOVE THIS RIDE. Some could consider it not the most engaging, but my mom is a huge hobbyist of plants and hydroponics, and I am a huge animal lover. We rode this ride so many times when I was little and it was a fantastic learning experience with Mom. I was always so taken with all the different environments of the indoor part, and I can remember Mom always pointing things out during the garden section. :) Still does it too. And how cool that now they use the food grown there in The Land cafe!

I love this ride so much, even after having gone on it once years ago. It invokes a sense of hope in a future of sustainable living

Sometimes I don't know why they ride if they're not going to listen & enjoy it. And it's not just the kids, their parents are just as loud. I wouldn't tell my kids they couldn't talk at all, but I would encourage them to listen, and be courteous of the people who do want to listen...age being a factor of course

What really amazes me is how the researchers at Epcot managed to use hydroponics to grow fruits and vegetation. Fascinating stuff.

Disney rides are something from another world, they do everything possible to recreate as real as possible the settings and the atmosphere of the films they produce. Not everything can be perfect either

People are so loud and don't listen. I want them to fall in to the water

Thanks to this ride i got into hydroponic growing and i love it! so easy to do and alot less effort then soil growing if you go DWC. currently have some lettuce and micro tomatoes growing in a very small space. its absolutely the future of growing in places like big city's to have fresh fruit and veg and can be done with little effort. still love this ride for giving me a great easy hobby with veg to eat at the end of it :)

I've heard that the farm house at 4:55 has a tunnel or passageway behind it....can anyone confirm?

I rode this when I was 7 in 2014 in February it was so fun! I’m doing it again when I go in 2021.

I'm usually a huge thrill ride person, but this is always flawless.

I went on this ride yesterday! I REALLY loved it. It was very cool seeing the greenhouse. I was hoping the ride could have either broke down either in one of the brightly lit greenhouse areas or the room where all the live 🐟 were. That way i could have took lots of cool pictures of those places. That's the most amazing and educational ride I've ever been on.

It's a cool ride I like what they were talking about how they are studying on foods about animal life and stuff like that maybe next time when I go back to Disney world I'll be sure to go take a back behind scenes tour

We took this ride, because I thought it looked interesting and there was NO wait time. I loved it! All of it. I'll probably never get to see the real plants like these again anywhere else.

My friend and I are both 23 years old and we went on this ride and loved it! It is very relaxing yet is educational at the same time! Some of the green house experiments are being used by NASA! How cool is that!

Great vid! My favorite ride there I about died when I saw all the fruit trees wanting to go into horticulture myself this was an incredible inside look into the amaaasing hydroponics and such they had going on there 🌱💗

One of the few edutainment rides remaining at Epcot. But even at that it’s changed enough that it doesn’t have the old theme songs or cast members narrating. Still, it’s a relaxing boat ride from dark to the greenhouse.

I remember riding this when I was 7 and I closed my eyes at the beginning because I was afraid of thunder. Lmao

This is one of my favorite rides in Epcot, in the desert they have a windmill next to the farm house but I wanna see the top of it but the trees are in the way, next time i'll need to sit on the left of the boat, I like looking at the fan of a windmill. :)

My dad and I call it "vegetable land". BTW I always like it when there are workers picking things and everybody watches them, and then they have a funny expression on their face :D

First ever ride my family and I rode when we got to disneyworld was this one! .

This scared the crap out of me when I was little

ill be there at the end of the month, i cant hardly wait! even tho we are annual pass holder last year we only went 3 times at the beginning of the year a need my Disney dose!

This is an effective video of the ride. It was recorded in the front row of seats in the front boat, so you are able to see everything in front of you, and most of the scenery was filmed, so viewers have an accurate impression of the scenery of the ride. Unfortunately, there were times, during the video, when I couldn't hear the tour guide's voice recording, such as inside the fish farm. The tunnel, at the beginning, wasn't too dark, so the video filmed the scenery there effectively.

I'd really love to tour those greenhouses.

@MrZigman2 I hope the weather is warmer when you get to Walt Disney World! BTW, if you and your family have any interest in riding Soarin' while in EPCOT, make sure you get to the park early so you can FastPass it as quickly as possible! I'm serious; my family has gone to EPCOT as early as 9 am to FastPass Soarin' and we get FastPasses for 4:45 and later.

I experienced this ride for the first time in August 2010, if I remember correctly, and took photos of it. I rode it again, on Thursday, August 9, 2018, and recorded it on video. I can tell, from this video and the one I recorded, that the ride's narration and scenery in the "living laboratories" have changed in a few ways, since 2011, when this video was recorded. This video, during the parts that feature the living laboratories and fish farm, shows plants I didn't see and records narration I didn't hear, when I filmed this ride, on 8/9/2018. The narration and scenery in the beginning, or in the tunnel, which features animatronics in large dioramas, hasn't changed at all. One thing I especially like about Living With the Land is that it is true to the original purpose of Epcot, as Walt Disney envisioned it to be. He said that Epcot would be a place where future technology would be introduced, tested, and demonstrated. This ride fulfills that idea, since it utilizes and showcases farming technology of the future.
