Well she’s an ambassador for the company, and as far as I’ve seen, she really advocates for it and believes in it. Its also not a bad brand.. having said that Hyram mentioned in his video that upon having a contract You have to use 50-60% of the companies products in these types of videos.

That’s true! Every bit is helpful to reduce pollution but the most common example I hear is that it’s better for millions of people to only stop using plastic water bottles than it is for thousands of people to be totally vegan. The “imperfect vegan” method also works better because it decreases the pressure on individuals, which makes them more likely to continue whatever waste-reducing methods they have.

I went to one off the most famous dermatologist in my town, she didn't know what a cleansing oil was and didn't wanted to prescribe a retinoid because you only suppose to wear them in winter, told me to go back in a few months, I live in Brazil we have no winter here. Got so disappointed.

Flávia F not all dermatologist are into skincare, as weird as it sounds. Some of them focus on sever skin issues. I have skin allergies, and have an amazing doctor who literally saved my life when I was a child. Yet when I tried to consult him about my pimples he gave me some generic acne product who was trash. I suggest you to search for another dermatologist that specialize in treating acne/your condition based on recommendations!

Flavia, i live in brazil to!! When i was treating acne i used retinoids in Belém (so close to the Equador line), i lived there for 2 years. If you wanna use it, you can, but you better be super careful with your sun protection! I have zero hyperpigmentation from that time. I'm from Rio and one good thing about this quarantine is that i'm back at tretinoin. Normally i use once a year (may to August), you have to find one dermatologist that is ok with that.

@Clementina Yael Severina M. 😄 you know, it's not otc, but they don't ask the prescription! It's bad, they should ask for that, even tretinoin is easy to get. But i got mine with a dermatologist that made 0.5% tretinoin + glycerine + hyaluronic acid.

I'd say the reason that bamboo toothbrush are waaay better than plastic is because they're compostable, and that's what you should be doing with you bamboo toothbrush, don't throw it away, compost it! :)

La vie En rose I would say toothbrushes have a very small impact compared to single use packaging, so limit that instead. It's way worse to make a new product, so I would say if you get free toothbrushes from your dentist use those! Instead of buying a new one

I remember seeing a package that comes with tons of small bamboo toothbrushes. Since they're small and in only one package maybe that's the way to go plus it's convenient to stock up. Or there is a style where you just replace the head each time for less waste. I bet there are other options though so I wanna look into this more...

Loved your video Susan! Wait but doesn't SPF wear off over time? So by the time the sun comes back up you may not have any or much SPF back on? 😲. How about setting an alarm, spraying a spray on SPF onto your face and then going back to sleep? 😅

Yes that’s what Susan said :) there’s no need to wear sunscreen at night because it wears off by morning and it can also clog pores. So just bite the billet and don’t wear it in the morning, just pull your shades down :)

29:50 Anyone have any idea how to actually reapply sunscreen throughout the day? Especially if you sweat a lot. Or wear makeup. Setting spray with spf can't actually have any real effect right? Since you're supposed to use like a tsp worth of spf on your face.

Yes! Even when things feel more risky than usual, every moment we are alive is still a great chance to find ways to feel good and enjoy our lives and make healthy, happy choices and connect with people. It was a gorgeous spring day yesterday and felt great out on the hiking trail. We can be gentle with ourselves and acknowledge all our valid emotions that come up, cry or dance or write or talk it out when needed, deep self-care, etc. Gratitude and self-care and support network and nature leading us back to peaceful center and sense of safety. Helping others and recognizing ways we are very privileged.

My mom shaved my head when I was a baby cuz she believed that it would give me thicker hair. She did the same thing to both my sisters lol

Yours only did it once, but mine did it three times😭 There’s this myth in my culture that if you shave it 3 times, the hair will grow thicker. Unfortunately, I can’t even prove it wrong since I have thick ass hair now💀

I'm Cambodian, I feel like a lot of southeast Asian cultures do this too. And my hair is so thick so I can't even tell my mom i don't think it's a real thing 😂

I live for these reaction videos and how nice susan always is. Also, I'm one of those people who think that liza almost exclusively using the brand she is an ambassador for is not a bad thing, guys. If the products work for her and she believes in the brand why not use only their products. Like, I use almost only cerave because they work for me and if I would be on harpar's bazaar for some reason lol, then people would call me sponsored or something by cerave but no, it's ok to use products from just one brand.

Omg she freaking kills me. Shes so dang funny. 😂😂😂 I do agree that a guy razor is my favorite. I hate female razors. Theyre just not that good in comparison. I dont use it on my face though lol. I use those other things you mentioned instead. But this cracked me up
