Another great roster is 1 Kroxigor - 6 Saurus - 4 Skinks - 1 RR - 4 Fans (5/6 fans) for 960 TV. It is quite hard to do anything against such a team and you are more likely to get mvp on big dinos. The reroll costs 140k, which I was able to get after first 2 wins due to DFans. Then you buy Apo and a 3rd Re-roll. I would advise to buy apo first as league is endless and it is better to preserve your players with spp.
Great video I always enjoy your content. If I could recommend in future guides discussing tiering at the different TV brackets I think people would appreciate it. Keep up the good work
Congrats on this being on the blood bowl 3 home page mate. Cyanide may be kinda crap but at least they recognise someone's who's been the comuinty for years
@@coreyalexander4101 Well of course, but Cyanide obviously isn’t youtube. Someone uses your work and image, you usually get paid. ‘Free’ exposure is a cop out.
I've been playing blood bowl for a long time. Me and a friend have been constantly playing each other . I've been trying to find a way to counter her skaven And I think you gave me a good idea. Thank you
What do you think about "Diving Catch" on the Chameleons? It should synergize rather well with "On the ball", particularly on the kick-off where you could create your own touchbacks at a 50% rate.
@@AndyDavoBloodBowl Cool! Thank you for answering. I was envisioning something like sharing the labor between skinks and chameleons, with the former doing the actual scoring (goal: MA9/SureFeet/Sprint, Block or Sidestep) and the latter developing into gatherer-passers. I'm debating Sure Hands and Diving Catch, or else saving for Pass. It hurts that the Chams only get Passing as a secondary access.
Great video. Looking forward to next weekend 🎉. I'd drop the apothecary and have two chameleons. They are so good for 2ttds two with on the ball and one skink with catch for the hand off and your up the board without breaking a sweat 90% of the time
Wow, its rare to hear a Big Guy get a complement yet alone be called one of the "best". It also surprises me how soon we got Lizards, the dev's must have felt the heat from their game not doing so well sales wise. I'll still pass on it despite the fact my team is in it, cause I haven't heard anything about patches or bug fixes.
Love playing Lizardmen (usually a human team) played 3 (first game awarded) won 1 drawn 1, 5 td’s scored. The skinks are excellent for closing down the ball carrier
You just earned yourself a subscription. I bought BB3 recently (when it was on sale on the PlayStation store) and have been playing with the Lizardmen since, so this is helpful. For the record, obviously the game needs work, but I’m still having fun. I’m glad I didn’t pay full price however 😅
Nice guide. One important thing you missed out though is random general skills for skinks. I would recommend every first skill on a skink be a random general, because there are almost no bad outcomes and then you can build each skink based on the skill they get, or just recycle them if you are not happy with the outcome. Also in the edit at the end you don't mention the skink star players Dribble and Druhl, who are definitely worth considering in some match-ups.
Wouldn't you want your Strongest melee Players on the line and not in reserve at the back end of your side of pitch? if not why it's what I've been doing and admitably failing all most constantly but I'm not sure why doesn't just make sense to make a shield/bulwark out of your biggest hitters all the Saurs and Krox?
Without anything to sweep the backfield all you have to do is poke one or two holes and you can penetrate the defense. Skinks don't cut it on their own so you need some muscle in reserve to plug gaps and push into the opponent after they commit to the fight. Dinos in the back can close the front and halt the progression of the opponent, line of scrimmage will either be freed up to pressure or hold players back from the forward drive and the dinos on the opposite side can push them into the sideline, which is why frenzy can be so good on lizardmen. Skinks can help stop the dodges, provide some safe assists and fill space but they will get run over on their own. Defense in this game is reaction.
i really need those guides, but what i dont get: you recommend a certain lineup and when you talk about the formation, you work with a different lineup, thats so confusing
He recommended the starting lineup of 6 Saurus, 5 Skinks, but your goal is to buy the Kroxigor as soon as possible. So the majority of your games (after the first 2-3) will be with 6 Saurus, 1 Krox, 4 Skinks, and he based the formations around that eventual lineup. With only 6 Saurus, the defensive formation is just a tighter anchor. 3 Saurus on the line, the the other 3 Saurus protecting the 5 Skinks behind them.
I'm really bad in english and the video is hard for me :S I try to understand but... I dont understand what i need to take with my skink and the support saurus... Can you write for me pllllllls ? Thank you for your help !
I really don't like the cameleon , he is more costly than a regular skink , has less movement , has more capability at throwing the ball which you don't really care with lizardmen in top of having stunty and unless this has been change , he basically always has -1 at lauching the ball ...
Exactly. I don't get the theory behind the chameleon skink unless he gets a native +1 to pass to balance out the stunts. But even then. Skinks are movement 8. Just run the ball. No passing required.
@@sinjoh53 it makes a massive difference on deep kicks. How does that “change nothing?” On the kick off it’s effectively movement 10 with on the ball and can throw on a 3+ if you need too. They massively improves your odds of scoring.
They are the best 👌 Trust. On the ball makes them movement ten on the first turn which is what they are for. With movement ten on them and then movement 8 on a skink you do the hand off. If it's league you put catch on both chameleons and one skink and you won't even use your rerolls
Andy please show the gif of the skinks kicking and the frog handling the ball less. it's really distracting looking at these lizardmen animations over and over when your talking about new skills and what to do
You should mention that the game is broken beyond belief. You can't even finish a game online without it crashing. Not to mention the enormous amount of bugs that they didn't even bother to fix for Season 1. Offline games don't report properly. The devs are either incompetent or they don't give a shit. You need to put a warning at the beginning of your video that the game is completely broken and inferior to BB2 in everyway.
First, I'm sorry to hear that your game is crashing constantly, a very small number of people from chat have also had issues, they have either Reinstalled the game or updated their graphics drivers. Second, regarding the state of the game, yes it's still poor in many places, as to why, that's speculation. I
