Frank walks down the Afon Honddu Valley starting from Llanthony Priory and St David's Church and visits Cwmyoy. In Cwmyoy on the side of the Hatteral Ridge is St Martin's Church which is very crooked. In Llanfihangel Crucorney is St Michael's Church. These Churches are in the Diocese of Monmouth in the Church in Wales.
Frank is in the Black Mountains which is partly in the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.
The Hatteral Ridge straddles the England -Wales Border with Herefordshire, Brecknockshire part of Powys and Monmouthshire. Bannau Brycheiniog/Brecon Beacons National Park.
Frank crosses under the Welsh Marches Line in Llanfihangel Crucorney and walks to the Skirrid Inn. Frank goes inside the Skirrid Inn Frank which at the time of filming had a warm welcome with a fire on the grate in the hearth.
The 23 Bus Line runs from Hereford and Pontrilas, Pandy, Llanfihangel Crucorney, Abergavenny and on via Govilon, to Pontypool, Cwmbrân and Newport Bus station.
Frank goes on the 23 Stagecoach in South Wales Bus to Abergavenny. Abergavenny Bus Station is where he alights and a walk along Monmouth Road and Station Road brings Frank to Abergavenny railway station.
Abergavenny railway station is served by Trafnidiaeth Cymru/Transport for Wales trains on Network Rail metals. The Class 197 Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) built by CAF in Newport calls at the station on the Welsh Marches Line. CAF is Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (Grupo CAF, literally "Construction and Other Railway Services") which is a Spanish Company with a works in Llanwern.
Cwmyoy is Cwm Iou in Welsh.
Llanfihangel Crucorney is Llanfihangel Crucornau, with the Llan being Church hence Llanmihangel in Welsh named after St Michael. Y Fenni is Abergavenny in Welsh. Hereford is Henffordd, which is the Old Road.
