Lloyd is 1 of 3 artists who's albums I can play all the way through without skipping a single song!! He's exceptionally talented & it's a crying shame that he never really have the right team backing him!! He should be bigger than the likes of Trey Songs and a few other artists in his genre that have had more success than he has, which really saddens me!!
MJ Came To Slay , that's because irv didn't promote him right and yes very sad he is not on top like that. To much bullshit was going on at that time with the irv camp.
Facts and Irv was too immature and bitter to understand Lloyd's reason for putting his own shit out. I guaranteed you if the roles were reversed his ass would of did the same thing. And its amazing how charmalegne takes Irv side over Lloyd but whatever. Am glad Lloyd doing great now. 😁
That's bullshit..you don't work with ur enemy..50 was murda inc enemy and lloyd knew that..he should have never sign with them in the first place..he knew there beef..
Then he never should've signed with Murder Inc in the first place. Everyone knew what they was on. And Murder Inc was like a family, they operated on loyalty. Lloyd should've signed with a pop label from the start, he knew what it was when he signed to Murder Inc. He basically talked the talk but couldn't walk the walk. Lloyd soft so will sign with anyone no matter what. He doesn't care about being loyal.
@@hiphop6045 who cares about the goofy shit them niggas was on. Business is business and that wasn't a personal situation of his. To expect everybody you be around to ride for your issues, is foolish. Everybody ain't in that shit. He was a singer singing songs. That's it.
Llyod told the Truth with Grace & Peace in his voice. All of these years later, Irv still proves to be aggressively hateful towards the artists that gave him clout through their talent. Irv is ego based. He will watch everyone he took advantage of move on to their Abundance while he remains stuck in his own self made tar pit of self destruction.
Peep Lloyd low-key confirmed ashanti and irv relationship but didn't and wouldnt go in detail and Angela spoke to someone who was signed to that label...
The best thing Lloyd has done was to go independent, and even though Irv was pissed that Lloyd left Murder Inc. Lloyd had to look out for himself. After hearing this interview, Llyod is still appreciative of Irv. He did not bash Irv or throw shade at him, Lloyd was very respectable. So Lloyd do what you have to do and continue with your positive energy. I predict your career will blossom successfully in the upcoming years.
The mind of a true Capricorn man...keep it professional, classy, and cool!! That's gangsta!! That's a REAL man, that's Lloyd!!! Work with you wanna work with!!! You don't need nobody dictating your music. Irv Gotti is just mad that he didn't get money from all the songs that went #1!!!
Damn Envy hasn’t gotten any better at Interviews, most the time if you just let the Guest speak and flow they’ll end up answering your question, but envy always cuts off the guest still to this day lol. like damn let the man know explain the situation.
I completely understand his points. If your artist needs to make money to feed his family and asks you to release him from the contract so that he is able to do so why keep him there? (especially in the tight squeeze Lloyd was in)
It's dope for us 90's babies that caught the tail end of the era. Now we're hearing the back stories and putting the pieces together we saw as kids it's dope to see.
Lloyd had to do what he had to do he was freshly new in the game at that time so he had to stay on top he know he could lose fan base quick sitting around waiting to be able to make music so I can't be mad at him, he was young trying to stay up above water
He did go off, but he did it in a grown man, eloquent, and intelligent way. A person doesn't always have to resort to screaming obscenities, making threats or being a jerk to tell someone off. He was very classy and kind about it.
That's not what "going off" means lol Going off means going off the rails, goin crazy, gettin outta pocket on somebody. And you can do that and still be a gentleman, it's just all about what it's over. You ain't gotta be a hood ass nigga to explain things and keep it 100.
Saying "he went off" and "he kept is classy" is like an oxymoron. That's like saying "She's a classy ho" lol ain't no such thing cuz being a ho isn't classy in and of itself.
This man has not only got the gift of song, he's got the gift of "tongue"; in other words, he can speak/talk/communicate very effectively. He really knows his lane & he fits in his place like a fish in water. He has executive presence, because he's so good at what he does, & when negativity comes up against an inate leader, it gets cast down, every single time. Love never fails, it is the greatest gift! Don't believe me? Just keep on watching. Love, joy & peace.
The issue that I see with situations like these is that the artists never really puts themselves first. I mean at the end of the day, business is business, and you should never confuse that. I mean what are you suppose to do, just because an artist is signed to your label and you develop a level of friendship that doesn't mean that you're suppose to remain underneath their wing. Sometimes people use the word "loyalty" loosely and I don't think it's fair that you(as an artist) should put the...
