Agreed. He's very charismatic and captivating. He also seems to have matured A LOT (minus his superficial opinions on dating). Being humbled has a way of reforming people I guess.
they gotta soak up the wisdom...they under the mentorship of a legend...its kind of like biggie wit his crew back in da day...them dudes will tell their children abt dis nigga Irv Gotti
terrific interview. 28:30 Glad Gotti gave DarkMan X some shine. This guy Gotti has strong relations with arguably three of the biggest rappers in the last 10-15 years, DMX, Jay-Z and Ja Rule! Can't be a coincidence. Gotti is a great exec!
This is the best interview Ive ever seen in my life, its so real, so educational to us all, its just the best ever. I never was a fan of Irv G, but now i'm a fan for life.
He starts talking about 50cent at 57:35... (lmaooo y'all crazy, but I couldn't have people sitting through an hour of this shit like I did just to get to that part)
Cancers we start one story and go into another dimension. We got so many minds wrking at once. We love the hardest and really can't let certain things that was said go.
This was a great interview. I'm 36 so I was in my late teens and early 20's when Murder Inc. was at the top of their game and in their prime. I have been a fan for years so I'm happy to see Irv getting back to the fore front and hope Tales is a success.
Venni Vetti Vecci is the beginning of Irv's legendary success. Classic record if yall don't know. I know he did things before that but that record really got him out there
galvincaine so you must of never saw DMX vh1 behind the music? Because his story is IMPORTANT for the hiphop and black culture. How a man who was raised by a mother who didn't love him gets hooked on drugs at like 8, meet his (ex) wife at that time started having kids at 17, all while becoming one of the biggest hiphop influencers of the early '00 (he sold close to 100 million records & had four of his albums go number one back to back) and help put swizz beatz & eve on the map and gave us a lox's resurgence. Don't play as if DMX is important for the culture.
Good morning black brothers and sisters. I wish y'all nothing but success and good spiritual energy today. Do what you must today and be exceptionally great at it. The weekend is upon us, go out and enjoy yourself to the fullest and respect what is in front of you. I love y'all, take care and always have the third eye opened, stay proud thou ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 #blackways

Warren London True indeed bro. I'm actually One half of the musical duo "StoneYardRebel" we signed a little digital distribution situation with "Chris Gotti" please if you can Listen to Freedom on Flames ft Skyzoo by Stoneyardrebel #np on #SoundCloud soundcloud.com/user-1179550/freedom-on-flames-ft-skyzoo
Well shit.....if Murder Inc, ROC A Fella, Ruff Ryder's, Bad Boys is old school? Then what's Rakeim, Furious 5, Slick Rick, Dougie Fresh, Big Daddy Kane, LL Cool J??
Mir 2300 cue the violins🎵Life does change its expected, that's not the issue, my 90's people always gave credit & admiration to the 80's pioneer's, and can tell you who inspired them to get into the game. Always paid homaged. These millenniums, don't push the culture, they can't even tell you who inspired them to pick up a pen. To busy dissing who came before them, or saying dumb shit like they better then Big & PAC.Its not a cycle this is definitely some new shit. So no thank you this whole wave can miss me. I'll stick to the Wale's, Kendricks, and Cole's of this generations
People be Sleeping on irv gotti's success. He was a real entrepreneur for real and had made a lot of deals go through. Plus his interviews is one of the best..He tells the truth about everything he don't beat around the bush
P on the beat Yea he does. I guess when the 50/G-Unit came in, its like people erased everything in their mind about Irv's success. Now it's 2017 and everybody just realized how many labels Irv helped and his success. Smh. People these days will believe anything when someone say something negative about someone. That's the world we live in.
this interview been popping up on me for a year nd I never bothered to watch! to cut the story short I'm so glad I watched it today. he a good story teller
loving his passion, loving the energy and his vibe..eishing him nothing but the best BUT i dont like the fact he doesn't have not 1 new artist from NY 👎
I love when I see the artists, producers, etc that was a part of my childhood and teen years come back years later show how much they've grown. Fredro and Sticky on the other hand😒😒😒
lmao fredro and sticky got their shit on point no homo, im not a dickrider, but i watched a documentary on them years ago, their business game is official, movies, tv, touring, etc they definitely got their shit together low key
foreverflylove ah ok ok, that's what's up. Not dickriding, if someone got their shit on their grown man game then takes another grown man to acknowledge and speak on it✊
fax, its all about humility and honesty, respect to you...duck down/boot camp clik is another crew eating good behind the scenes, they do a bunch of different shit, flava unit queen latifah also, they make a lot of moves in hollywood and behind the scenes low key, it caught me by surprise seeing cats do things outside the box of music, i had no idea there was so much hidden talent, from script writing to doing scores on movies, etc etc
foreverflylove yes indeed. Some of the artists from our era are still selling shows over seas. Europe, Japan, Australia. In countries that we didn't know got down with hip hop all like that. Like you said, so much paper making behind the scenes.
U know something funny.. Back when puff released the Craig mack video flavor in ya air remix... and irv was in it for like 2 seconds.. I saw him, and asked my sister who he was.. she was like idk.. but I always was like wtf I'd that guy.. then when Ja got hot, and I saw irv, I called my sister and I was like that's the dude from the Flavor in ya air video...
Master P tried to relaunch No Limit, Suge tried it with Deathrow, both very successful in their day. Hard to regain top form. I like Irv, and I wish him well. Hard to regain top form after being off the scene for so long.
Allinterhigh what he should've didn't was just put them out and see what they do then come in later an say they are to me to let the world not that there back.
Glad I had the chance to work with him on Tales. This dude's vision is so dope. Man I can't wait to see how the world reacts to Tales because it gave me chills being on set seeing it first hand. Dude's a genius at what he does and has my respect wholeheartedly.
